After suffering through Ch 12's audio ad assaults and ch 10's all-commercials app this Ch 6 app is great. EZ to use, loads fast and nicely navigable stories and good weather info, although the weather guys change more than the weather does.
Just a splash screen

The app only displays a splash screen, there doesn’t appear to be any functional purpose for it.
Kelly Bates Gone Deleting Ch 6 App
Happyhorticulturalady
Sinclair Media is known for terrible corporate Karma No. Kelly Bates Goodbye Forever ABC 6.
Better than 10 & 12 news apps.

I was happy with my previous news app until they unfortunately "upgraded" it. Couldn't find anything. So glad 6 has this app with easy to find categories:-)
This release includes a new dark mode settings option, improved image viewing in stories, and better live broadcast schedules.
