Play as male or female, gay or straight, and even find romance in the Zombie Apocalypse. Gather supplies and weapons while avoiding the military, bandits, and living dead. Your choices alone control the story.
Zombie Exodus includes Parts 1 and 2 for free, in which you search for your sister as the city deals with the viral outbreak turning the living into zombies. Meet other survivors, scavenge for food and supplies, and make moral decisions affecting your life in the apocalypse. The full game has 750,000 words, 9 unique endings, 25 achievements, and a myriad of paths to play.
This game is beyond words. Especially if you are an rpg player. This story is amazingly written. The choice system is excellent. You can really feel immersed in the world and like you choices will have meaning. I have downloaded a lot of apps. But I think that this is the first one that I have liked cared about enough to wright a full review on. If you like rpg games or games where you can chose your own path you will love this game! You will probably like it even if you don't like rpg games and only like story. I honestly think that even considering the simplicity of this game, that it is better done than a lot of big name rpg games with fancy graphics and large teams. Even the few drawings that were added in to help you visualize things were done with quality. The story did not drag there was the right amount of story for the amount of reward and satisfaction of your choices. Once again, it actually felt like your choices have meaning. For a game that had very little visual aid, it gave you a great amount of detail swiftly so things were easy to visualize. In a way the lack of visual aids may have helped this game to make the story feel more personal to you. I have had very few apps which I have kept on my phone after I was done with them but I think that I can confidently say that this will be one of the apps I do keep. It would be great to replay on a car trip, or anytime. With something like 9 different endings. Even if you completed all of the endings I think you could make a different experience almost every time.
Revisited as an adult

First time I played this, I was 13 but couldn’t get far into the story due to pay walls. As an adult I managed to cross paths with this game again and now I was capable of playing the game in its entirety and I am SO glad that I could. This “Choose Your Own Adventure” is extremely captivating, and makes me feel like a kid again wondering what I would do if at this moment, zombies started roaming the Earth. The characters are realistic, the dialogue isn’t cheesy, very few moments where it becomes unrealistic in terms of human capability. This game alone has rekindled my creativity spark and I can’t stop thinking about building my own world and making an interactive story or game similar to this, and man, just absolutely love this game. I can’t even appropriately review this game, zombies are like a “special interest” to me and this is really the only interactive story that puts you in a zombie apocalypse.
Thoroughly engaging story

I really enjoyed this game/story. The extra few bucks I spent to get access to the entire story were well spent. I was surprised at the length of the story. If you're a fan of choose your adventure stories, you should love this one. It's great that we can now have much more evolved interactive stories that let you make more nuanced decisions. I had two issues with the game. First, it's riddled with typos. It's obvious they could use a proofreader to clean up that aspect. Second, there is a spiritual/"ghost" aspect of the game that doesn't need to be there. The explanation for the zombie virus makes sense, and the entire story is based in realism except for that one ghost aspect. It wasn't really necessary to the plot, and I think it detracts from the reality basis of the story. Overall, an enjoyable story that kept me captivated until the end. I highly recommend it.
Honest review

I hate reading (really hate it) but I've had 3 phones over the last 3 years and Ives downloaded this app on all of them, I've played the story countless times and I always spot something I've never seen before in the story. This app is the only thing I can think of that's entertaining and engaging. This is the only thing I'll read over and over. I've had other apps and such but they didn't last a week I've had Zombie Exodus on my phone for years and just about every day before bed I'll play through more of it and if I finish the storyline, I'll restart and go for another ending or try different options. In conclusion I love this application and will support it and play it every day. Thanks for reading my honest review.
You can now choose a font in the Settings menu. Switch to Helvetica for crisp sans-serif text, or try the OpenDyslexic font, designed against some common symptoms of dyslexia. If you enjoy "Zombie Exodus", please leave us a written review. It really helps!
