The app does it's job perfectly well. It just works and I never have issues out of it. Clean, clear and straightforward. This CU is amazing. Easy application process for loans, credit cards and deposit accounts. If I apply for a loan I usually have access to the money within a few hours of starting the process. They have constant pre-approval offers that I have found very accurate when it comes to being approved/denied as long as your DTI is acceptable, and at least give you a minimum approval amount. Often when I apply I'm approved for more than the pre-approval said. Lose your card or damage it? Walk in the branch ask for a replacement and they'll print it on the spot. Payments made easy by transferring from one account to another or using a debit card from another bank to pay your CCU loan or credit card. Most importantly the staff are ALWAYS above and beyond nice. From branch tellers to loan specialist to underwriting.
New Update

I will be honest; at first I wasn't a fan of the new update. I found many of the new menu changes unnecessary and was prone to thinking, "if it isn't broke, why fix it?" Despite that, I have been using the app for some time now and have no choice but to admit that it's quite an improvement. The new update has a bunch of new features, and the more comfortable I become with it the more I realize just how powerful it is. It truly feels like a modern banking app, and is much more user friendly than some other big-player's apps out there (looking at you paypal and Discover).
VPN issues, limited viewing of transaction history
terabyteman
Two issues. 1) I use VPN all of the time. CCU clients that are security minded should not be encountering these issues. The CCU go mobile app struggling to work with VPN in and login process is problematic since my VPN blocks trackers and 3rd party activity requests. This needs to be fixed. I don’t have any VPN issues with other banking apps, just CCU app. 2) View transaction history viewing. It is very annoying that when I click on an account that it does not automatically just bring up “by default” the last rolling 30 days. It is so annoying that it brings up a small set, then you have to request more which push it to another page applet, and then again scroll and find you have to requests more history to load, and then load again. I have many other banking and financial apps, and they all provide, or allow me to set it, to default to a rolling 30 days of trans history. I formally request 2 product enhancement requests to get these changed. In this day and age of security, we customers and clients should not be having issues when using a robust VPN security to keep data private and secure to a banking system.
Too many login issues.

Even after I called Digital Banking. Annoying because every time I try login to my account I’m forced to enter a new pin. Never had problem like this before with any financial institution. This problem was resolved later but information provided was not transparent, but I figured it out. Effective communication is best serve with common sense simple advice, so that even a fool, can’t error. Only other thing I see needs to change is the ability to see the password typed so I know it’s correct. Where is the eye symbol when typing in password ?
