Hi, I absolutely, positively Love this program. I’ve been using it for a year now or so. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is for the same reason another person mentioned, the inability to see in the future. I want to use reoccurring expenses so badly but I can’t because, I need to see into the future a month at a time so, I can’t use the feature for reoccurring expenses, because they don’t show up until they are due. So, I have to add all my expenses, and all my income by hand each month so they all show in the register on the dates they are due. Also, a jump-to button would be wonderful, so when I click on, “view all reconciled transactions”,I can choose where I want to go and not have to scroll all the way down to the current date a little at a time from last year to get to the current date area.Other than those two things, this program is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Before I bought the paid version I used the lite version, so I’ve had experience with both of them, and they are both great. I found a partial work-a-round for Reoccurring entries. I put them in the reoccurring area and give them all the same date (The First of the month) Once they are in there I adjust the dates to reflect the due dates! Then I can see the entire month. If something is due every two weeks, I just add it under monthly twice, and then adjust the dates once it’s in the register. Works! But, would be nice to have a button to add them when we want to.
Best of several I tested

I tried several of the other similar apps and eventually settled on the original “Accounts”. I had compared it with the others and found it to be the most useful. Then switched to “Accounts 2” when it became available. It’s easy to list several active “accounts”. You can track bank accounts as well as ongoing expenses for such things as auto, home, donations, loans etc. Also track income and expenses with convenient reports generated graphically for any or all accounts. It is easy to track both categories month to month. A “recurring” feature allows you to easily enter and track income and expenses. You set each according to your needs: monthly, 3 months, 6 months, yearly etc. You simply choose the income or expense, the dollar amount and finally the date of entry. The app automatically enters it in the correct account. You can set up “recurring” to help you keep track of when a bill is due. You enter your monthly bills under “monthly” and for each one you can identify a payment amount and due date. Each bill automatically appears in the correct account, in my case it’s one of my checking “accounts”. You can use a date prior to the due date. Then when that bill appears under the “account” you know it’s time to pay it. Simply allow sufficient time for it to be received “on time”.
Almost perfect bank account register and budget app!

I have tried a number of highly rated financial planning and bank account register bookkeeping apps. Money pro, Quicken, and a couple others that were duds. This one is awesome so far, but I've only been using it for a couple weeks now. But I really like it! I wish the developers would add the capability of 2 things: 1) To be able to save the opened app transaction screen I'm on when switching back-and-forth among apps. Often I will check my bank account app in the middle of entering a transaction into the Accounts 2 app, but if I am specifically entering a split transaction, the information I have already entered into the split fields disappear when I go back to it. If you're just entering a regular transaction that doesn't require a split category,It looks like it saves that transaction app window screen after going to another app in the meantime. 2) Also, I would love there to be the little calculator capability in the transaction total field, like there is in the split transaction fields. I keep track of my budget categories by keeping a running total at all times, adding to the amount each paycheck or taking away from the total when we spend in that category. Now I have to do the calculations on a separate calculator app, instead of being able to use a calculator within that transaction total field. Money Pro has this capability and I loved it! I do have to say that Accounts 2 app has a perfect reconciliation capability and I absolutely love their budget reports! Very helpful and easy to use and understand!
Very satisfied with Accounts2 features

I used the previous Accounts app and found it very useful, similar to a paper register with obvious digital enhancements. I found it useful when creating solutions or tricks for keeping track of budgets, projections, savings goals, and future alerts beyond recurring expenses, which I find really useful, especially with the expanded features in Accounts2. I'm happy with the reports, backups, and lack of access from my bank accounts. I liked the look of the old version, less white space. The optional colors are nice but doesn't change that much from the default settings. I wish that I had known that I could transfer my settings and data from the old version, but I just started using the new one at the beginning of a new month and decided I could retire the old data, start fresh. The only thing I struggle with is the iCloud updates between 2 devices. Some times it didn't work and I had to fiddle with the downloads to make the changes. This is not a reasonable solution that I would continue using, I lived with it on one device for years, I could stick with it if necessary, even though I do like updating it on my iPad, it's not going to be the primary or sole device. I scares the willies out of me to upload and download back and forth if I need to because I'm afraid I'll overwrite my data, and 6 months from now it would be much more disastrous. But I think I'm getting used to the time lag. The suggested solution of rebooting my device is strongly UnAcceptable. I'd rather be assured that it's usually going to work than have to carefully verify changes between devices before making new changes. I am confident in the product, however. There are a few niddly things I'd like to see changed, but I can't think what they are this moment, so I'll probably find a work around or search the FAQ. Thanks for a great app.
Fix issue with pie chart report for certain iPad devices.
