Create fun spelling tests with your own voice! It's super easy to record lists of words and learn them with the 'look, say, cover, write, check' approach. Practice as many times as you like and then try a test to see how you score. Recording and hearing yourself (or your kids!) saying the words or using them in a sentence is an effective and fun way to learn. Practice mode helps to reinforce the correct spelling by preventing mistakes and using sounds and a simplified alphabetic keyboard. Test mode gives you the chance to try them out, giving you fewer hints and keeping track of how you do. At the end of the test you can see how many words you got right and wrong. I would have given this app a better rating, but as soon as I try to creat a spelling list - it shuts down on me, making it unusable :(

You can record your own words along with putting the word in a sentence. What I really love about this App, is it beeps during practice if they put a wrong letter in, and will not move forward until they get that next letter correct. The other spelling Apps I downloaded did not have this feature. I also use it for all of his tests, since there is plenty of room to record what you want for each answer. You do have to pay if you want more than 3 words on your test, but it is more than worth the money at $1.99. This is by far the best App I've found & now my son is getting all A's on his tests!
