About the worst app I've ever used. Stations which are clearly GE stations, and which include instructions to use this app, are not found by the app. And this is a huge transit center with 11 stations. You can't sign up an account in app, you have to use a website that is one of the most mobile-unfriendly sites I have experienced. It should have occurred to the developers that many customers would be downloading the app while at the station and so mobile use case should be higher priority than a PC-formatted website. And once set up it still doesn't work. Feel free to call customer support, the 888 number is right on the charging station. But be sure you only need help during normal weekday business hours, because they are not open otherwise. Nobody needs help on the weekend or in the middle of the night anyway, right? I'm amazed that GE actually puts their brand on this pathetic experience.

Absolutely horrible app. Basic UI mistakes: help number cannot be tapped on to initiate a call!!?? You cannot even cut-n-paste the number. Instead, you must find a piece of paper, find a pencil or pen, copy the number, then dial using phone. Wow. How backwards.THEN, once calling the number from my desk, instead of hold music, there is an aggravating female voice that repeats advertising talk over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... I then called from my cellphone in case I'd need to walk to the car charger. 2x calls were answered by an automated offer to win a trip for 2 to the Caribbean. After hanging up 2x and calling back, twice I got an announcement that this number cannot be called for your calling area. Why does GE make such a mess of such a simple customer support feature? Did anyone from GE ever test the system?

I have to say, my experience is very similar to the other reviewer. This app is absolutely horrible. Download it it add a shopping center where there were multiple GE wattstation chargers, but the app does not allow you to attach a credit card, you have to go into the website, which is completely not mobile friendly, in order to attach a PayPal account, not a credit card, and that feature has not worked for three days now.On top of that, none of these chargers show up in the app. I mean I’m standing here looking at eight of them, and not one of them shows up as an option in the app. What complete and utter garbage. Yesterday I called the Support number, but surprise, it is only staffed during weekday business hours.Garbage!

I am going to join the chorus of voices pointing out that this app is effectively useless for what it intends to do. You cannot use this app to start charging at a GE WattStation. It’s fine at helping you find a station but once you get there it is simply impossible to start a charge. I am hopeful that someone at GE is monitoring this and will send a Beta team to try themselves and see that the app actually drives people away from their charging stations in favor of charging stations of other companies such as EVgo and Blink. It’s too bad too because I have two stations near my work and I would use them but can’t so I go elsewhere.
