Great magazine. Truly terrible app

This is a great sailing magazine. I have subscribed for a decade and love the printed copy.This app is a totally different matter. It is incredibly poorly structured. The launch screen says “subscribe now”, yet I have been a subscriber for years and am already “signed in”. This months magazine is available to preview, but I am unable to download it. Yet I can read last month’s magazine in full. Why? There are other publication apps that are terrific. The Economist is a great example. Intuitive and simple to use. Sadly Yachting World is not one of them.

Great magazine, horrible app and customer service. Magazine says there is a multi-hull special, but nothing is available. Email sent to customer service, no response. Multi-hull special becomes available a month later... February magazine appears, not available for viewing. Email to customer service, no response...

I've been a long time subscriber of Yachting World.... about 4 years. It is -in my opinion- the best sailing periodical (although very Euro-centric). I've switched to the digital version because of my travel schedule. While I prefer the printed version, I enjoy the convenience of having the latest version within reach regardless of my whereabouts. The iTunes reader is not as good as "Zinio" , the Euro reader (have I spelt that correctly?)Overall, very pleased - worth the price.
