I’m just curious if the developers actually ever did a test run with this app. Navigating the claims is impossible. The “hide details” button just takes you to the details page. there are no navigation back or forward arrows. The claims aren’t listed by date of service or location, only the claim number which is not helpful. The desktop website is really the only way you can navigate through Medcost and that isn’t even simple. Very disappointed with this app. Some very minor changes could make it a much better experience and I wonder if anyoneFrom the development company is even reading these reviews. I would’ve expected more from a large company like Medcost.

This app is worse than useless. It’s just a front end to their web site. It doesn’t remember my password. It doesn’t fill the screen of a “notched” iPhone. I can’t use FaceID. A browser shortcut saved to the Home Screen is actually an improvement. But do they care? NO! I only have their insurance because it’s what my employer provides, and they KNOW it! I’m not their actual customer, so they have no inclination to meet our needs.

Update: 2 years later can’t even log in. All the info on this app is out of date and all the app actually does is bring you to a bad version of the website. The medical industrial complex makes billions of dollars a year off of us. There’s no excuse for why an app should be this dysfunctional. do better.

Not sure where to begin with the quality of customer service. All they know how to do is advise the customer that they will be on a 2-3 minute hold without an answer when they return to the call.
