Booking directly with airline is same as Prime member price

I recently booked a flight using this app. I was told that I get a discount by buying a prime member so I signed up to be a prime member and paid the fee.. I then check on the airlines flight schedule and found that my flight was the same price as the discounted price given byeDrens. Went to check in and was charged again for my seat which I paid for already on the eDreams site I then lost my seat and had to sit in the back of the airplane because I waited until the day before because it was my understanding that I already had booked my seat. The problems just continued from here.. change the flight, then told I can’t do a partial only a full change on both tickets to get a full refund. I ended up paying close to $350 for work should’ve been $160 purchase. Beware of all their policies even if you pay for the extra cancellation fees and a prime membership. If you don’t follow it, they will not refund you anything and then they will directly to the airlines site and the flight the flight even if you didn’t just run around to siphon your money out and then you get stuck paying all this extra money for nothing.. I hope to saves you from the frustrations that I faced

I cancelled my flight less than 24 hours after booking and they did not honor their full refund policy. I called multiple times between their "customer service" and the actual airline. Edreams kept giving me the run around saying the airline was holding my money and hadn't refunded it when the whole time it was them. So finally when I figured out after multiple calls that that airline had indeed issued a complete refund, they then changed their story saying oh it was actually our service fee. Like what?! You've been lying to me this whole time, wasting my time, and stealing my money! Still have not received my refund. You cannot ask for a supervisor or someone with the authorization to issue a refund, they keep telling me their "highest authority" can only be reached via their email service. More lies! Their email responses are automated and say sorry we've done our part your refund isn't eligible. So I called them yet again after going through hoops trying to confirm with the airline in order to submit documents of their side of the refund. Then to find out after that now they're saying it's a different charge. Also am now only directed to send an email for a solution but that's not a real person. So when I call back a representative lies to me saying to give it 24-72 hours after I've sent the email and a supervisor will call me. Nope! I have to now involve my bank and possibly make this a case. Please save yourself the anguish and STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!
If you want to change your flight, you are doomed

Tried to change a flight with them more than a week out that was booked through Lufthansa, but with their website AND I had their prime service. They kept telling me that Lufthansa had to change it and then Lufthansa told me they have to change it. Eventually Edreams decided to stop being incompetent and just started lying. I got told they were finally contacting Lufthansa directly to get the flight changed 3 or 4 different times and that they would contact me via email or by phone with updates. Each of those times I called them and they told me that they never once emailed me or called me. I had to keep calling them only for them to tell me that they were still “working” on it and every single time they told me that they told me they would contact me. They never did. Finally, the day of the flight came and still nothing and no change so I asked if it was still ok to get the flight changed even if it was missed and they said yes. Guess what? I called after the flight and miraculously they “got in contact” with Lufthansa and they said that Lufthansa wouldn’t let me change the flight because it was missed even though my situation was explained to eDreams and they told me I could still get it rebooked lol! Don’t ever use them if you plan on rebooking. They don’t care about their customers and I paid 60 dollars for their yearly prime membership just to get lied to. Also I called Lufthansa and they told me that they have and would never tell a third party website that they can’t rebook their customer. I’ll never use eDreams again.

All of the negative reviews are spot on! The company is a complete sham. They don’t obey their own policies. They seem to be based abroad, which probably protects them from fraud lawsuits. I booked a flight and then cancelled it two hours later because I found a better deal. They claimed to have a 24 hour cancellation window. I have an email confirming my cancellation time. They refunded just the $50 for a $700 flight. When I called to ask, different people gave different answers. One person was a complete ahole and said that 24 hours doesn’t mean 24 hours, but that it is calendar day, India Standard time! So even though I book a flight US EST, if the time in India when I book is 11:59pm, then I only have 1 min to cancel because when it hits 12:01am, my cancellation window has closed! Another person admitted to me that I made the cancellation in a timely manner, but that their back office delayed contacting the airline and that they didn’t want to eat the cost for their mistake. A third person stated that I needed to contact Swiss air directly because they don’t do those sorts of things! I did call Swiss air and after spending two hours on hold, they told me that the ticket was never booked or charged by eDreams! The crooks are just trying to steal money! I’ve filed a complaint with the US Dept of Transportation. These crooks should not be allowed to operate in the US!
