I joined with EECU just a little after my 18th birthday. It has been wonderful. I have had NO fees. I get about 3 account updates to my phone per day. I am glad to be able to work with a credit union like this one. But fr bro, i use EECU exclusively bc they had a relationship with my parents, and if my parents are loyal to it, I’m gonna be loyal to it. EECU is a household name for us. Only thing I don’t like is how little branches there are outside of the Central Valley. It makes it a little bit of a headache to bank when you’re traveling. I must acknowledge that this is not entirely EECU’s fault. Anyway, I love EECU and won’t use anything else ever. Ps. My name is Daniel, and I am getting my Real Estate license soon. Frustrating Unpredictable Failure of Features

I have been banking with EECU for a long time ... more than 15 years. When everyone else was starting with mobile apps, my husband at the time considered having us change to a different bank with mobile features. EECU caught up with mobile banking but some features weren’t immediately available ... a feature we rely on ... mobile deposit. Finally EECU added mobile check deposit but it’s ability to actually take a picture of a check that was accepted took a while to finesse. EECU finally caught up a bit more with this feature, making some improvements. But I still regularly run into troubles with the mobile check deposit feature...either an image isn’t clear, or it thinks it isn’t clear ... EECU is no longer my primary bank and my new bank the mobile check is automatic (no constant critique of holding steady), fast, and lacks frustration. Today resulted in my need to finally leave a review because I was unable to even utilize the mobile check deposit feature. It kept giving me a “this service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” I called the customer phone number from the app and was on hold for 23 minutes. When I finally had help the employee simply said the feature was working on her end and it must be a problem on mine. I told her how this was something I utilize a few times a month and what can I do to correct the issue (if it was in my end). She said there wasn’t a problem and suggested if I needed my check deposited today that I go to an atm. All other app features work fine. It’s always the check deposit that has issues. Sometimes just loading and never submitting. One time it didn’t load or give a confirmation and so I attempted again later and ended up depositing it twice. Of course i saw the error and it was easily corrected by calling ... but for an app that is supposed to bring efficiency and ease it does not when it comes to their check deposit feature.

I’ve been with EECU over 25 years and have never had an issue with them. I’ve had issues with other banks. Citibank for example, conned my mother into a home equity line of credit that she didn’t need because they had been stealing money out of her checking account and she was overdrawn to the tune of $4500. This was such a big ordeal, the US department of justice actually took my case. I’ve also had some issues with other banks making errors. I have never been unhappy with EECU.

I opened up the app, because I got paid, and when I opened up the app everything was different. Before the update, I used to open up the app, and it would show my Checkings, Savings, and Auto Loan Accounts. Now I open it and that’s not there anymore. Now it shows when I first open the app is . . . Transfer Money page. I explore the app to see where I can find my accounts, and it can’t be found. I can go on, but all I can say right now, is I do not like it at all. It may have some new features, but I can’t enjoy new features without seeing my accounts. Sure I can go to the website, but I thought the point of an App is to get my bank information quicker. For now it’s the website, and not the app. Until it goes back to the previous version or they fix it.

I opened up the app, because I got paid, and when I opened up the app everything was different. Before the update, I used to open up the app, and it would show my Checkings, Savings, and Auto Loan Accounts. Now I open it and that’s not there anymore. Now it shows when I first open the app is . . . Transfer Money page. I explore the app to see where I can find my accounts, and it can’t be found. I can go on, but all I can say right now, is I do not like it at all. It may have some new features, but I can’t enjoy new features without seeing my accounts. Sure I can go to the website, but I thought the point of an App is to get my bank information quicker. For now it’s the website, and not the app. Until it goes back to the previous version or they fix it.
