Bell Bank’s mobile app is a must for anyone who wants to easily keep track of their bank accounts. I make mobile deposits often which saves me from having to drive to the bank and from misplacing checks that have not been cashed or deposited. Plus the funds are in the account balance quickly. The only thing I would love to have added is the ability to check off debits and credits on the app when I balance my checking account. Adding a box that can be checked so that my check register and the app match would save me from having to double check if/when a debit cleared.

So I am user that has an older model phone such as iPhone 6 Plus that doesn’t have a IOS software over 13.0 and I am being punished for it how is that fair I can’t access my account via mobile now because you re route me to the update and I can’t use mobile deposit anymore either now. If I choose to go on another electronic device I can access my accounts but I can’t use mobile deposit for that for that option is not available because it’s not a phone. My point here is why should people who don’t have the latest technology or can’t afford it be punished and we can’t access my accounts like we used too. Now I can’t even use the app anymore so there goes a convenience for me and many many others. I get things evolve but you should be able to evolve apps but still be able to have access for other users who unfortunately don’t have that capability. Love Bell Bank but this didn’t make me happy and now I have adjust as does many others.

I’ve been using the Bell Bank mobile app for a while now, and it’s been a really convenient way to manage my banking. The app is easy to navigate, and logging in with Face ID makes it quick to access my accounts.I like that I can check my balances, see recent transactions, and transfer money all in one place. The mobile check deposit feature works smoothly—just snap a photo and it’s done. I also appreciate the debit card controls, like being able to turn my card on or off and set alerts.Sending money with Zelle through the app is super handy, and the alerts help me stay on top of account activity. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable banking app that makes everyday tasks simple.

Getting used to the format

Initially found Bill Pay a bit confusing as the layout on the mobile screen is a bit awkward. Would like the option of a “virtual register” function to be able to add or subtract not yet processed items, whether purchases or upcoming Bill Pay obligations so that the balance shown would more accurately reflect the true available balance. Another alternative I would like to see would be an overview of any automatic payments scheduled to be taken out of my account on a regular basis, and have the option to include these in my register balance ahead of their actual processing as well. As for savings, it would be nice to have a savings calculator to show how much to set aside how often to achieve a certain savings goal.For point of comparison, I have been using Wells Fargo’s Bill Pay Service. It is more intuitive and fits better in their mobile app.Their Control Tower feature allows you to see scheduled automatic payments (though not the effect on your current balance). The point of all this is that the more I can see of what is coming due out of my account the less likely I am to mess up and overdraft. Ideally, I could set a date, (perhaps my next pay date, or a set number of days in the future) and be able to see my balance as if all pending and scheduled withdrawals were already counted, thus giving me the truest picture of what I have available to spend. Maybe have a “ toggle switch” type of option to show with or without these? Also, Zelle offers much faster $ transfer between different account holders at the same bank. Hope this helps.
