The app tracks your journeys on foot, by bike, and on public transport. It calculates the CO₂ savings and generates one Klima-Taler for every 5 kilograms saved. You can redeem your Klima-Taler for free entry and discounts at sports and cultural events, swimming pools, museums, and of course with over 500 local partners.

The Klima-Taler app is particularly battery-friendly. Nevertheless, the consumption is higher when the GPS function is switched on than when the smartphone is in normal operation. We need GPS in order to recognize the modes of transport and to be able to reward you with Klima-Taler.
