LiveTrack runs cooler - Long tracks with an external receiver no longer heat up your device or slow the app as the line grows. Position updates from receivers like the Emlid Reach RX2 are handled once per fix instead of once per sentence, the map stops redrawing constantly while you walk, and a 300-point line appends as smoothly as a 3-point one. In follow mode the map also pans a little earlier so your position never slides under the draw controls.
Map photos open right in the gallery - Tap a photo on the map and the gallery button now opens that photo in its Record's gallery, with the Record's other photos alongside to swipe through. Back returns you to the map.
Bug fixes
• Adding points to a shape you had already saved could leave that Record unsaveable on every device. New points now always get their own identity, and every location save is checked before it leaves the device. Records already affected are repaired on the server, so sync once before editing those shapes again.
• Tapped overlay features now show the property you configured as their name instead of a random one, and the overlay gear sheet shows which property is in use.
• Rotating an iPad while typing in a field no longer throws away what you typed.
• Additional guards are in place to ensure the Records list scroll position is saved.
• Re-selecting a Record you had just been viewing could open it to an endless loading shimmer. It now loads every time.
• After using the Record card's nearby button, coming back from a Record could reopen the Nearby Features sheet instead of the Record card. The sheet now opens only when you ask for it.
