Coming from a girl who used the flo app for 5 years, this app is so much more peaceful to open. I only used flo because I was just too lazy to find another app that I actually liked and transfer my data. But when I seen embody on tiktok, I knew it was finally time to be done with flo. I immediately sent it to my best friend and told her everything I loved about it and she downloaded it and loved it too. What I love about embody is that you don’t have to pay for anything. It truly shows that the creators actually care about women and their well being. The app tells you what phase you’re in and how that can affect your feelings, movement, cravings, and focus. It also tells you what foods are best to eat to feel your best during a certain phase. And the background color changes when you enter a different phase which I love. You can track symptoms you may be experiencing during a phase and how severe those symptoms are. And there aren’t any ads for a “premium version” unlike flo which gives you an ad every time you open the app. Like I said, the creators truly care about the women in our world. Something I would love (if possible) would be the option to change the app icon color or animation of the logo kind of like something snapchat offers. I just feel like it would be a cute personalization touch to add in the future!
I really like it so far

I used to use flo to track my periods but got worried about my personal health data being sold or used for other purposes. I didn’t find an app that I felt like I could really trust till now. It is beautifully designed with helpful insights and a user friendly interface. It doesn’t have any adds or subscriptions popping up every two seconds, which I really appreciate. I plan to donate to the team because I really believe an app like this can become something huge! I can’t wait to see how the team continues to develop it!! Especially with everything going on these days…
Period tracker is always inaccurate
ash-722
So I love the extra information that this app provides. However the main reason I have a period tracker is to simply TRACK my period. And every single time the “x amount of days till your next cycle” is always inaccurate, not even close. My cycle is regular, usually comes the day of, the day before or after. When I started using the app I added in dates of prior periods up to around 6 months and I have been accurately logging the past 6 months as well, so it has enough data to track. And yet it NEVER gives a remotely accurate count. Why is that? That’s the reason y I use these things I started to just go back to counting on my calendar since it serves no purpose. I know cycles can be irregular but the app is unreliable regardless. And I think that should be just as important to all the added info given. So can we PLEASE fix this?! Even if the countdown begins from 10 days away.. that’s all that needs major improvement.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re actively working on ways to improve the accuracy of our predictions to better meet user needs. In the meantime, could you please check your app settings to ensure that the cycle length and period length are set to a value close to your average cycle and period length? This can help improve the countdown accuracy. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on enhancing this feature. Thank you for being a part of our community!
The Vision is there, but not user friendly

Edit: This is an edit due to the response to my initial rating. I took one star because I feel like we should be able to input the day our cycle ended. I have PCOS/irregular periods and the app just determining when my cycle ends is not helpful to me at all. My cycle is not the same every month. If that could be changed I would give the app another go. Other than that I will stick to the tracker I already use. Initial review: I saw this advertised on TikTok and decided to give this app a try. I don’t know if I’m just slow but I cannot figure out how to input that my cycle ended, just can only enter the first day of my cycle. I guess I just need some sort of tutorial on how to navigate the app. I like everything else like the different phases and able to put in my symptoms. The editing of my cycle is the only issue.
Developer Response
Hi, Thank you for trying our app and for your feedback.Regarding your concern about inputting the end of your cycle, the app automatically determines when your cycle ends based on your next period date. For example, if you had a period from January 1st to January 5th, mark all of those days as bleeding days on the calendar. Then, when you get your next period let's say on February 1st, simply add it as a bleeding date. The app will automatically know that your previous cycle ended on January 31st.We hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.
