Luna is a comprehensive health tracking ecosystem that comes with a smart ring, a fitness band, and an always-on intelligence layer called LifeOS. Instead of passively displaying data in dashboards, Luna understands your biomarkers and your health goals, and turns them into a personalized plan for your day.
A calendar for your body;
You wake to a day that has already been shaped around the state you are in. Breakfast has a time, your workout planned based on your preferred slot and goals, and a nutrition plan based on your calorie targets and macro consumption. The plan also takes into account what you actually did in the past days and weeks, and learns from your preferences and available resources.
Sleep tracking and continuous vitals;
Understand how well or poorly you slept, with an analysis to meet a single chart. Sleep tracking separates the night into stages, and blood oxygen, or SpO2, along with resting heart rate, HRV and skin temperature are all measured while you sleep, then weighed against your own normal instead of a population average. A figure that looks unremarkable on somebody else's chart gets flagged when it is unusual for you, and every value on the page says whether it was measured, worked out by a stated formula, or estimated.
Manage your health goals;
You describe what you are working towards in your own words, such as running twenty kilometres in a week, and what comes back is a plan with check-ins rather than an empty tracker to fill in yourself. Progress stays honest on the weeks that go badly. The goal also changes what each morning asks of you, so the thing you want and the day in front of you stop being separate conversations.
Track your health 24/7;
Your sleep and stress recorded throughout the day, and your HR recorded every second. Training Load tells you whether recent effort is building you up or wearing you down, VO2 Max estimates aerobic capacity after any outdoor run, walk or ride of fifteen minutes or more, and strain reads as Relaxed, Focused or Stressed as the hours pass. Anything in that history can be asked about out loud, in English, and the reply comes from your own record rather than general advice.
Luna Apps;
You carry only the parts of Luna you use. Cycle Tracker, Calorie Tracker and Circadian switch on when they matter and stay out of sight when they do not, so somebody tracking a menstrual cycle and somebody managing their weight are not looking at the same crowded screen. Calorie tracking holds what you ate and what remains against a target, and explains where that target came from and when recovery moved it. Cycle tracking shows the days to your next period and where the fertile window falls, and the phase you are in shapes the guidance you get that morning.
Track your biomarkers;
Blood work stops being a PDF you cannot read and forget in your inbox. Upload a lab report or blood test result and every marker on it is pulled out, sorted into optimal, in range and out of range, and explained in terms you can act on. The next panel joins the same record, so you watch an individual marker move across months and find out whether the change you made worked, which is the part a printed result has never been able to tell you.
One Luna, many devices;
You take the ring, the band, or both, and your history stays in one piece regardless. Whichever one you have on reports into the same record, and the header shows its battery level and the time it last synced, so you are never left guessing whether today counted. Training Load is measured by the band. Luna also connects to Health Connect, which brings the workouts and vitals other apps captured alongside everything Luna recorded, and spares you entering anything twice.
I have had the band now for a week and a day. I wear it most places, but not for vigorous activities….it’s a little fragile, I think. It certainly is not waterproof. However, after a week and a day, it is at 41% battery! I find that extraordinary! Also, it picks up my sleep, my naps and all my walks. I have small wrists and it looks attractive on me. I believe it is a work in progress, but find it very informative. I am still learning the app, but I find it interesting and mostly accurate as I compare it to my other trackers. Looking forward to continuing good things from this band.
Buy the Oura Ring
labbyabby
Skip this, buy the Oura ring instead. The Luna ring has been full of problems. It is difficult to align on the charger, the battery indicator is not accurate, once the battery dies it is hard to reconnect with the app, there are problems with data syncing, and finally it just quit working. Tech support is under staffed with barely an attempt to follow up after multiple attempts for help. My ring hasn’t tracked data for a week and a half and haven’t gotten a resolution. I’ve reached out to their live chat, helpdesk, through facebook messenger, and direct email. It takes days to get a reply, I follow up with all the requested info, and still days later there is no acknowledgement.Update. They sent me a replacement ring. It won’t pair. I’ve reached out to live chat and tell them it won’t pair. They keep telling me to unpair the device. I can’t unpair what has never paired. So I have two Luna rings now that won’t pair. Since live chat only feeds me canned responses, I’ve reached out to the email contact given to me and haven’t had a reply. I’m about to quit complaining and give up on this product. It has never once been able to accurately monitor my basal temperature and predict cycles just fyi. That’s with a year of wearing the first generation ring that worked intermittently. I don’t think it ever worked consistently enough to collect the data.

It took months of back and forth emails and ultimately the issue was only resolved through support on instagram. I’m adding a star back for the only person who was helpful in finally getting me my product. However, I’m still really disappointed and I really wish the team valued and heard their customers. The look and fit of the Luna ring is great. But other than a piece of really expensive jewelry, it fails to deliver in terms of any real health tracking. In fact, most of the stats are completely useless. I’ve laid around all morning and already hit my active calories with an optimal rating by 11 am. Seriously? What’s the point in having a rating when it’s met every day just by doing the bare minimum to survive? The exercises available to track are so limited and unable to be edited. I walked 5km at a pace of 7kmph and it only showed as 2,000 steps? We should be able to input data if it isn’t able to be measured. Not all walks are created equal. Calories and steps are highly inconsistent. I end up defaulting to my Apple Watch which defeats the purpose of buying it entirely. It feels like this ring vastly overpromised and massively underdelivered.

Hi Jerrica, really apologetic you had to go through this. I believe the Support Team has now taken this up at priority and is in touch with you on Instagram.
Terrible Customer Service
Erick Alfonso
I have been attempting to troubleshoot constant issues with customer service for over a month. At first, my ring stopped syncing, then it disconnected and wouldn’t connect to Bluetooth, recently started to import my workouts from Apple Health multiple times for the same workout, and now AGAIN my ring is not syncing. My workout from Apple Watch was imported, but nothing from ring. I have sent a separate email for every single issue and receive the same generic response, “Thank you for contacting us. A member from our team will be reaching out to assist you with your issue.” To this day I still have not received a follow-up email from the FIRST email I sent a month ago. I completely get being a new product and I even stated in my emails that I’d be willing to be patient with firmware updates, but to at least be responsive to issues that arise. It is completely unacceptable. I haven’t even received a reply regarding returning my ring due to all the issues. Maybe later on this can be a quality product. The ring design is better than most and app is user friendly (when it works), but there are way too many glitches now.
