I’ve been using the app for about a week and have only actually spent maybe 2 hours actively talking to people and I’ve made over $100. There could be some improvements like the ringing time should last longer. If you’re not right by your phone or tablet it’s easy to miss calls. Also there should me a texting option and the ability to add more than just one picture. Having a profile video would be pretty useful too.

So I’ve been using Rent a cyber friend for about three weeks and I’ll give you the long and short of it. First, you aren’t going to get rich off of this app. I made about 120 bucks my first two weeks which is pretty good. The app takes 20% out which is reasonable for the platform and it’s security. I did have an issue with a long delay for my payment to process which I found out was because of a dispute (something that doesn’t show up on the status page) but the staff were quick to push it through because I am a badge member. I don’t know if it would have been pushed through as fast without help from the staff but I did appreciate that. Very professional. Second, having been on the site for a week before having my badge and then after, I can’t say if there is a big difference between the two but but it’s not an expensive subscription. I still have the same amount of time between calls. I think there would be better incentive to use the site if there was an affiliate or referral program like other platforms of this nature, however it’s very easy to use. Overall, if you manage your expectations and go in knowing all of this, you’ll have a decent time.

I am writing this on February 6, 2026 and I can say that the customer service has definitely gotten better. The customer support is one of the things I worried about most after however most times I contacted customer support. I got an immediate response with them 1 to 2 business days. As for actually making money, I think that this app is really great for making money so far I’ve made over $300. I trust this app because it uses PayPal to pay me rather than asking for my bank information and if there’s a problem with With your payment then you just contact them via their email and usually after they saw my email I was paid out instantly through my PayPal.

I came back to this app after several months off. The one person that I really thought was a friend on here, turned around and charged back all of the calls that he made to me. I found this out when I got paid today and the money was short. They gave me no notice of this happening. This company gave him all his money back cause he was mad I raised my rate. If it bothered him so much, he could’ve just stopped calling instead of calling me several times and why the company gave him back every single call makes no sense. You won’t make anything on here anyway most people hang out before the minute is up where you have to be on a minute and five seconds to get paid. There are hardly any callers on the app but tons of people signed up to take them.
