So, I absolutely LOVE this game but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add it so there’s a button where when you click it it will pause the offline activity, writing this my food level is decent, but after every night and after school I’m a little scared my colony will die, but when you press the pause button again, it allows the ants to live offline again, so please add these features, thank you!By your average gamer: NoahJ

This game is honestly really neat in the sense of style it’s shooting for. As an ant keeper, I can say that this game could have the eyes of so many other ant keepers if I were to throw in a few suggestions; and I simply say this because there are a *lot* of ant keepers and hardly any good ant games out there. 1. There should either be an option or just in general to start a colony with around 5-10 workers instead of an instant 100, so you can have a sense of growing out an actual colony from a founding point.2. The egg laying rate should slightly scale alongside the colony population, as well as the food and water demand for the ants and they eggs.3. There should be *way* more spots for eggs, as in nests like what are used in the game, the more a colony grows, the more they start to just walk all over their eggs. Maybe each chamber has the ability to hold different stages that the eggs are developing in too.4. Ants that just chill in their outworld should wander a bit more, or just have more random movements to make it seem like they are foraging.I should mention with all these suggestions that the current time it takes for ants to develop should not change, I think the slow-ish pace of the game is great but more so for a beginning / smaller start of a colony. Now of course, this *is* a free game with the option to support it, and I’m sure this might be made by a single person, but I highly recommend supporting it! With these changes I believe a small price could even be put on this game just to play it, and this mobile game could really spread amongst many people who keep ants in real life! Overall, really simple and amazing app.

As a huge ant lover, finding decent ant games is ridiculously difficult, so finally finding this gem was great. It’s relatively simple, as it should be — it’s a pet sim, after all. The gameplay consists of you caring for a colony of ants, the size of which starts at 100. To care for them you can clean their graveyard, give them water, humidify their nest, and, of course, feed them. This is all done via a few simple button clicks. The game continues offline, so while your colony continues growing, you also must check in to feed on them.I personally think this is great! Watching them hunt and eat is always an easy way to pass the time, the music is simple but nice, and the inclusion of other basic needs (thirst, cleanliness, humidity) is something other ant games are always missing. Now for suggestions:1. More food options, potentially? We currently only have two, so possibly adding super worms or larger berries could be fun.2. Let idle workers do more. Maybe they check on the brood, or the queen. Let them clean themselves! Maybe they can have a little dual cleaning animation. Ants in the outworld could have a different idle that feels more like foraging (walking more, antenna movement, etc.).3. An option to let us start with a smaller colony would be great.4. Implementing a pause feature would be fantastic, in case you can’t get on for a few days.5. Of course, this is a much bigger ask, but if you ever feel like implementing multiple species of ant that require different behavior (leafcutters, weavers) or ones with polymorphism, that would be awesome.And that brings us to the end. As a true ant enthusiast, I love this game! I check on my colonies every day and love how realistic it is. I had a few ideas while playing that I think would be cool to see so I thought I’d share. A few different types of waste for the ants to bring to the waste pile like food waste and bathroom waste, being able to see the workers do trophylaxis among themselves and with the queen, and maybe some male ants and/or alates. The game is already awesome without those aspects though and I’m excited to see what new features you guys add as time passes!
