I like this app and the direction it’s going in. The only thing that’s stopping it from being the best app for me is the sudden and abrupt crashing this app seems to randomly go through. Doesn’t happen all the time but it happen every now and again. Thank you for making this app.
Decent app for browsing Reddit without an account. Several obnoxious bugs though…

I’ll start off with saying this is probably the best choice of app if you just want to browse Reddit without no ads available right now. Having said that. There are dozens of bugs and broken features all over the app. If there’s a one line comment that contains a link, good luck tapping that link without just collapsing the comment thread. There are some videos that pause every time you try to play them. (Almost exclusively on sports related videos, no idea why)If you have other media playing (music, podcasts, etc.) if you open a post with a video, your other audio won’t pause while the video is playing, but when you leave the post and go back to your main feed, THEN your other audio will pause. This is very frustrating when you have “keep videos muted” when viewed selected. So many videos have obnoxious music put over the top of them, I’m just trying to look at the video. It is probably going to already have captions on it. Why does it freeze my other audio every time I exit that video???Don’t say it’s an iOS problem, because this is literally the only app that has that issue. I have so many other issues, but I can’t think of them at the top of my head. Please reach out if you would like more. And just do better guys.
The app does not work.
WhyTryHard
90% of the time the post filters do not work, the only two that are consistent are hot posts and top posts. The hour button does nothing. The option to stop videos from auto playing does nothing. Scrolling through to find a video you are interested in watching quickly becomes a frantic exercise of finding 4 other videos simultaneously playing with sound and trying to mute them, then the app refreshes and sends you clear to the top causing you to lose your scroll progress. This app has crashed almost once a day for the past week. I really enjoy using lurkur but the frustration it is causing me lately has me considering deleting the app. It’s good when it works right, but it almost never works as advertised.
Needs a lot of work
Lauriestar3
I try not to leave negative reviews and I like the app concept but wow this needs work. Constantly glitching and requiring a force quit, crazy slow load times, clicking links won’t do anything so you click again and suddenly it’s loading the link multiple times in the same window, and on and on. Errors, glitches, bugs. Not a great user experience. And omg the only way to get “load comments” to actually work is to repeatedly force quit and cross your fingers. Probably deleting this app, it just doesn’t work well enough.
Hi, it's been a while since the last update. Here are some of the new changes:
- Festive Christmas themed app icons.
- Support for embed Twitch clips.
- Better support for iOS26, including some liquid glass elements and better navigation.
A lot of small and bigger bug fixes & performance updates. Such as better Markdown table support, card layout autoplaying & more.
Encounter a bug or want something added? Make sure to mention it on the subreddit or via the request feature button in the settings.
