Right now with gas it’s strangely more affordable to have a rotisserie chicken and Oreos delivered by flying 300 feet above me than to go grab them from the store myself. What a weird time we’re in. I appreciate having options though, because it’s the same price here as it is on the Walmart app, and so it’s the exact price of whatever I would go pickup from the store. If you want to deliver more than there is room for it in one order, you can make multiple orders at a time, which I have not done but find it funny to think about a line of drones coming in to deliver your groceries, haha. :) so far I’ve picked up jiffy honey cornbread mix, which I’ve found is awesome in a loaf pan at 16 minutes in the oven is like a cake, soo good, and some panko, Oreos, ketchup, and have yet to get anything frozen or refrigerated. So far it’s great. I like how little time it takes to get to me too. Efficient. :))
Delayed delivery

We had just installed our patio cover today so I forgot to choose a clear spot for the drop. It came by and tried to adjust the location but when my husband came out unexpectedly as it was dropping, he was apparently too close and it pulled back up and left. The delivery status then came up delayed. I was notified it was launched again and delivered 20 minutes later. My location was less than 3 minutes away so it saved us a drive while we were entertaining. It was very nice to be able to watch football and wait for a cool delivery. Amazing!
SCAM ALERT!!

I was in the part of the city where I’ve been waiting for a while for zip line to start delivering, and I was excited when I finally got a notification that they were now delivering in my area. So of course I went ahead and placed my order and then I saw that that referral system so I use the referral link and I made a post on our little neighborhood app telling people that our city now has access to the zip line delivery and then they blocked me from being able to receive referrals and they’re saying it’s a system flat issue And that it can take up to a week for them to look it over but until then they’ll disable my abilities to receive referrals, and I let them know and even offered to provide proof that it’s because I was sharing the app like they literally wanted in the referral section But they banned me for it and then they advise that it’s a system automatic thing, but won’t have anyone look into it immediately so I can regain access. Great way to lose people and I will be deleting my post I made.

Frustrating
J610
I used to really like Zipline, but lately it’s been really frustrating. The notifications no longer work. I have them turned on on my phone’s settings and in the app. Over a week ago I told someone in customer service about it. They said they knew about it. But it’s still not fixed. The other problem is that there is no option to assign a substitution, and the last two orders, the main thing I wanted was marked out of stock right before delivery. Instead of fixing either of those problems, they added next day delivery with a three hour window. That’s the last thing anyone wants from a drone. The only options for me are deliveries in my front lawn. With no notifications working, I’d have to stay glued to my phone to make sure I didn’t miss the delivery. Fix what is broken. Don’t spend time on needless things when the important stuff doesn’t work.

Update: thank you for flagging this. Our team fixed the notification-not-appearing bug!As for only being able to deliver to your front lawn, if you email me your address, I can take a look - ryan-at-zipline.com
