I’m aware that this game was just released so I didn’t have super high expectations as nothing just starts off perfect of course. I was stuck in a fight after I hit the person it just kinda stuck where I had no option but to quit the game and restart. The loading screen is also a small bother because it just takes so long lol but overall the game has a lot of potential I hope they make it officially multiplayer soon

I absolutely LOVE your previous game, “The Wanderer” but this game doesn’t live up to it. During the tutorial, when I attempted to search the junk pile, it just said “no resources found.” I noticed the other reviewers weren’t having that problem, so it might’ve been just me. Also, when I tried to open my bag during the tutorial, the game crashed on me!! I ended up just skipping the tutorial despite it being my first time playing. More issues occurred during creating my character. I was unable to change the skin tone very much in ways that felt natural, though that wasn’t a big issue so long as my character’s not tinted pink! The big thing though is that I actually can’t play the game. Not due to the game being glitchy (though it is kind of glitchy) but because of the game crashing. After finishing my character, I wait for the game to load and then it crashes. I even tried this a few times. In conclusion, I really do wish I could play this game, but many issues (as in the crashing) have prevented me to do so. I like the idea that this game is a 3D version of “The Wanderer” and if anyone reader this review hasn’t play that game, you definitely should! As for this game, who knows? Not many other reviews have had problems with the game crashing, so for people reading this, it might not be a bad idea to try “The Wastelander.” But developers, please try to fix these problems. “The Wanderer” is epic and I think this one could be too with some more updates. I have a new update coming soon with more fixes and also an update i believe was released recenty with fixes. Beware if trying to support development through purchases

I’m a fan of The Wanderer so was happy to see a new take on the simple gameplay by the company that got it right the first time. But I’m now feeling a little less positive having played through the first up version to the one to date (2/6/24). Wanderer fans will enjoy this new concept I think, but beware: purchases are yielding short. I’ve requested a refund through Apple, but wanted to let others (and hopefully the devs) know that if you’re looking to support the game and its growth by making in-app purchases, maybe wait until they’ve worked out more of the problems. It’s a fun game, buggy but not infuriatingly so, definitely has lots of potential… but if you buy “caps”, the amount you purchase is nowhere near the amount you get (I’m referring to the 100,000 caps in my case - my bad for not realizing initially, but after repeated purchase, I saw I was receiving less than 80,000 each time). Also, purchases made with those caps in game were deducting 2-5x the amount indicated in dialogue bubbles. Again, it took me a while to actually notice this - yes I should have paid more attention initially as it is obviously a game still being worked out, but I guess the optimist in me thought they wouldn’t be accepting/wouldn’t have activated in-game purchases if that aspect weren’t working accurately? I don’t know about the other purchase options available because I’m not planning on making any more for a while. Hoping the situation is corrected… because otherwise, that’s a way to lose people who actually want to support the developers and game FAST!

We have also fixed a lot of stability issues with player movement and glitches as well as big improvements to location visuals! Stay tuned for a big update!

I loved “the wanderer” game and was excited to try this one! it looks like it’s pretty new and there’s still an issue with anti rads not taking away radiation damage and I believe that it should either be easier to find clean water and food I think I’m at 5 luck and 3 perception or be able to sell things for a slightly higher price it’s like 1 coin for everything at 6 charisma also I’m not sure if it’s the radiation damage but i can’t enter buildings and walk slow but I’m not at the weight limit.Overall I’m excited to see what it becomes and I GREATLY appreciate that the developer seems to be responding to reviews and trying to fix the issues when I feel the game is more playable I’ll be happy support by buying some of the micro transactions!
