No Thanks app 4+

This is a wonderful and very useful app. My only suggestions are an option for alternatives and being able to send proof. The proof for Nickelodeon is that they're owned by Paramount, which is true, but Nickelodeon also openly supported Israel on Twitter and through programming in Israel. While this may be nitpicky, I do think it could be helpful in case any proof provided is wrong, outdated, or missing (and I believe there are some brands on the app without proof).

To conclude, if you're looking for a more efficient way to determine which brands to boycott, please consider downloading this app. I downloaded it today, and I am certain I'll continue to use it. Ahmed, the creator, is doing and has done marvelous work.

Like many, I got this app to make sure my money isn’t going places that I don’t want it to go. The app itself is intuitive and easy to use, and doesn’t crash. No qualms about the user experience itself, and I think the concept is awesome.

However, I’ve encountered several products with inaccurate results, where the provided proof in the app doesn’t match the product or company. Perhaps the bar codes are similar to those in other countries (I’m in USA). This app could be improved with the ability to notify the creator or any support staff that a product’s origins are inaccurate, or require further evidence than what it is provided. That being said, the origin of most products are accurate, but there’s enough that I’ve scanned have been wildly wrong where an audit process to ensure a product on the list is accurately classified.

I LOVE this app— I never review apps but with the functionality and how well the values of this product align with my own, I had to make sure everyone knows what an incredibly tool this is. It works quickly and easily, and allows you to access a wealth of information about the products you’re purchasing. I used to painstakingly look through reports and news articles and just hope that I’d be able to find red flags for products I wasn’t sure about, but it took a lot of time for each brand and still wasn’t a foolproof method, as a lot of brand issues go underreported. So thankful to the creators and can’t wait to use it more!
