The application is an interface for a low cost hand held soil moisture sensor. It receives data through Bluetooth Low Energy from the sensor, decoded it and displays it for research purposes. The app has a functionality of being able to change the soil type and it calibrates the data according to the values for specific soils. The app also takes into account the longitude and latitude of the person and saves it on their device locally, without sending it anywhere. There is also an option of sharing the saved data as an excel file using the share option of the device.
