Finding the right animals is easier, and new guided tours help you learn HornCalc, HornTrace and HornMatch. • New Refine filter: narrow the feed by gross score and sort by score, free for everyone. Pro members can also refine by individual measurements. • New Anatomicals filter: show only posts that have anatomical measurements. • See your active filters at a glance and clear them all with one tap. • Filter chips are in a new order, with the ones you use most first. • Guided tours in HornCalc, HornTrace and HornMatch show you how each tool works the first time you open it. • HornMatch is marked "Best for Beginners" so new users know where to start. • The Anatomicals tab on a score sheet now shows the species average next to each measurement. • Recover Old Scores: if you scored animals in an older version of HornScore, you can bring back scores that were saved only on your phone. • Fixes: the score-type picker, the first tap on a post preview, and dragging in HornTrace.

Explore every animal Scroll down the home feed and tap Grid to see every animal at once. Explore shows the best posts first. Pick Latest from the menu to see the newest. Find your species The filters now sit right above the feed. Tap Species to see only the animals you hunt, then narrow by score, age, type or location. Sort by score to see the biggest or smallest first. Post Coach, free for everyone Before you post, tap Preview to see your post the way it will look in the feed. Post Coach suggests the best photo to lead with and flags anything that could hold your post back. Also in this update - See the species average next to each anatomical on a post's scoresheet. - Quick tips the first time you visit Explore. - Switching views no longer leaves a blank screen. - Faster filtering by location. - Many smaller fixes.

What’s New Practice your field judging, share your animals, and enjoy faster video. - Measurement Guess: Sharpen your eye on real animals with known measurements. Pick a species, choose a measurement, and make your guess. Practice beams, points, mass, and spread, with species-specific measurements and guided, point-by-point judging. - Share Your Animal: Turn your scores into shareable images. Choose Photo or Card layouts, Story or Post formats, and the score details you want to show. Adjust your photo framing or pick the perfect frame from a video. - Faster Video: Videos start faster and adapt to your connection for fewer interruptions. Enjoy smoother scrubbing in HornMatch and the games, even with large clips. - HornHelp, Rebuilt: Jump into HornMatch or HornCalc from a HornHelp post. Fine-tune your Low/High estimate and share your comparison image directly in the comments. Plus, improved game button responsiveness, smoother exits, cleaner animal age formatting, and smaller fixes throughout.

This update is about getting better at judging animals. There's a new HornMatch, three ways to practice in Play, a practice mode for HornCalc that shows you your misses, and real reference animals right above the keypad. A NEW HORNMATCH HornMatch now works by swiping. You see your animal next to a scored animal from the library and make one call: Smaller, Similar or Bigger. Each call narrows the range, and in about a minute you have his gross score range. • Not sure on one? Tap Skip and you get a different animal. • Your animal stays on top the whole time, so you always compare against the same photo or video. PLAY Play is a new home for practice, on the Home tab. Everything in it uses real scored animals. • Gross Score Guess: look at an animal and guess its gross score. • Multiple Choice: pick the right score class from a few choices. • Practice Field Judging: measure a scored animal yourself in HornCalc. PRACTICE FIELD JUDGING Pick a scored animal and measure it in HornCalc the same way you'd score your own. When you finish, you see your numbers next to the real ones, measurement by measurement, so you know exactly where you were close and where you were off. MEASURE AGAINST REAL ANIMALS IN HORNCALC Reference photos and videos of real animals now sit right above the keypad. Each one shows a known measurement, so you can hold your animal up against something real instead of guessing. Tap one to use its value. WHAT'S NEW, ON HOME Updates like this one now live on the Home tab. Tap a card to see a feature, or tap View All for every release and its full notes. You can also replay the new onboarding tour from there. FIXES AND POLISH • Smoother video playback and scrubbing, with fewer stalls. • Adding photos and videos to a score is more reliable, including items still loading from iCloud. • HornCalc's keypad reads better in dark mode. • A measurement just under the next inch keeps its fraction. • The post Back button closes cleanly, every time. • Videos sent in Messages open as videos. • HornMatch shows the curated library when you're offline. • The feed refreshes on its own when you come back to the app. • Tapping Home always takes you to the feed. • HornMatch and HornCalc are both one tap away when you start a score. Thanks for every report and every score. Keep them coming.

The September Giveaway is here. Post your scores this month for a shot at a Tricer-AD Carbon Tripod, a Tricer-LP Pan Head, a Marsupial Gear bino harness, an Ollin digiscoping system, or one of 10 years of HornScore Pro. Every score you add is worth more entries than the last. The new giveaway screen shows how many entries you have, what the next score is worth, and which of your existing scores are one quick fix away from counting. Scores you've uploaded since the relaunch count automatically — no need to re-post. Also in this update - Long captions in the feed now expand instead of getting cut off - HornHelp is now available on comparison scores - Fixed a bug where a message attachment could get stuck full-screen

Fixes and improvements • Fixed a layout problem that could cut off text on your profile. If your banner photo was wide, the profile could render wider than the screen and crop the edge of your bio. • Fixed Horn Help subtotals showing 0 instead of adding up your points. • Fixed the quick guess keypad not accepting input, and the calculator not opening again afterward. • Feed posts now show when they were published instead of when they were created, so the dates match the order they appear in. • The photo picker now tells you when HornScore can only see some of your photos, and lets you add more without leaving the app. • Redesigned the measurement help sheet with a larger photo and clearer instructions. • Moved the score badge on comparison photos so it no longer covers the antlers. • You can now use the photo and score grid while the measurement keypad is open. • Layout fixes in Messages on smaller phones.

Ask the community for help judging (HornHelp) HornHelp is now fully available. Mark one of your posts "Looking for Help" and hunters can weigh in on the field judging. And now you can go back and edit your request after you've submitted it — fix a measurement or add detail without starting over. When you see a post from someone who wants help, just tap the "Need help judging" prompt to lend a hand. A cleaner, more useful feed - Posts now show how long ago they were shared with a clear age badge on the photo. - Follow a hunter right from their post with a single tap, and use the menu on any post to share or report it. - The feed is now ordered by when a post actually went live — newest first, every time. Publishing with confidence - Before you share, a clear confirmation shows you exactly what's going out and who can see it — no more surprises after you tap publish. - Adding a hunt without scores now becomes a photo post instead of a confusing scoreless score. Field judging improvements - HornTrace and HornMatch now have clear icons so you can tell them apart at a glance. - The scoring sheet stays put while you're typing measurements — no more jumping around. Plus smaller fixes — smoother comment threads, video scrubbing that works again, a profile albums grid that stops clearing itself, and a more reliable sign-out.

Protects your work and makes posting more reliable: • Fixed a crash that closed the app at launch when you had no signal. • Your media now uploads before anything else, so nothing is lost if an upload fails. • New video trimmer catches videos that are too large or too long before you post. • Posting is clearer: Save instead of Share, you choose who sees each post, and skipping the score sheet offers a photo post with an estimate instead. • You're only asked for a cover photo on your first item. • Fixed gray boxes on shared scores and smoother HornMatch sliders.

Net score on every animal — Typical and Non-Typical net side-by-side, computed live from your measurements, with the full record-book breakdown a tap away (Pro). Sharper, smarter cover photos — your first piece of media is your cover, now stored at full quality so posts stay crisp in the grid, feed, and when shared. Crop a cover for any photo, and for videos pick the exact frame you want. Change a cover and your grid and shared image update right away. HornMatch refresh — after you field-judge, a new "What's Next" payoff screen with a customizable score range, and your own scores now show up alongside the reference animals. Drafts, reimagined — a dedicated Drafts section on your profile plus the home strip. Resume any in-progress score, and everything autosaves as you go so nothing is lost. Pro score filters — filter the feed by score criteria, gated by species. Refreshed profile — Posts | Drafts | Albums, plus Harvest / Field-Judge badges on posts. Faster & more reliable - Rock-solid video posts — large clips compress automatically, and if one's too big you get a clear heads-up instead of a post that quietly loses your video. - Major photo picker overhaul — instant thumbnails, big memory and crash fixes when adding lots of media (including a collection-enter crash), no more "No Media" stuck screen, smoother scrolling. - Cleaner editing — reorder media and set covers with clear labels; your chosen cover shows in the media tray and hero. - Comparison, unified — the scrubber, pager, and confirm now live in one clean bottom rail. - Smoother navigation — moving between posts and into profiles is snappier, and deep links open reliably from a cold start. - Fixed photo-attachment crashes in Messages. - Offline species-library downloads are more reliable. - Reliable species search; sharing a scoresheet image no longer hangs; shared covers now match your post and the web. - More accurate scoring (Greatest Spread), a first-keystroke fix on prefilled cells, steadier comparison sheets, better draft media saving, record-book detail on posts, accessibility improvements, and dozens of stability and polish fixes. - Thanks to our testers — a huge number of these came straight from your feedback.

What's New in 2.1.0 Field judging just leveled up — plus polish and fixes across the app. • Compare while you score. Pull real animals up right alongside your field-judge calculator. Tap a measurement to bring it in, long-press to fine-tune, or grab them all at once — then Transfer the values straight into your score. • Manage your membership anywhere. Upgrade and manage your subscription right from the website, with a smoother, native checkout. • Better sign-in & account controls. Link Google or Apple to an existing account, a cleaner flow for social logins, and a clearer, more secure account-deletion process. • Sharing that looks right. Shared links now preview properly in Messages, with the option to attach your score-card image. • Smoother creating & editing. Improved photo cropping for covers, banners, and profile pictures; profile photo changes now show instantly; and posting only asks for media when it's actually needed. • Lots of fixes. More reliable comparison filters, faster video handling, and dozens of smaller stability and polish improvements. Thanks for using HornScore — keep the feedback coming!

This update is a big reliability and polish pass on top of 2.0: - Faster, smoother profile — your profile, scores grid, albums, and followers/following lists were rebuilt for quicker loading and cleaner scrolling. - Cleaner scoresheets — percentages on the pie chart, a clearer legend, simpler layout on post detail and your own scoresheet. - More reliable photos & videos — video posts always show a cover frame (no blank tiles), downloaded media plays back correctly, covers stop flickering while loading. - Better photo picker — Recents/Recently Saved match the Photos app order, the grid refreshes live, album covers are correct. - Smoother posting & editing — post without a score, editing shows content immediately, Save is disabled until you change something, and an in-progress score auto-saves as a draft if you leave. - Field Judge / HornTrace improvements — new estimation disclosure on first trace, plus many comparison-view and media-sizing fixes. - Faster launch — the home feed loads its images first instead of competing with background downloads. - Many additional bug fixes and stability improvements.

HORNSCORE 2.0 — REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP This isn't an update. It's a new app. We tore HornScore down to the studs and rebuilt it natively for iPhone — faster, smoother, and built around one idea: give hunters real scoring tools, not a calculator with a login screen. THE FIELD JUDGING SUITE Three tools. One workflow. This is the heart of HornScore 2.0. HornMatch — Judge against reality, not a guess. Stop eyeballing it. HornMatch puts your animal side by side with real, scored animals — from your own harvests, from the HornScore Library, and from the community. Filter by score, points, mass, age, and rack configuration until you find the animal that matches what you're looking at. Then pull its measurements straight into the calculator and refine from a real baseline. Nothing like this has existed in HornScore before. HornCalc — Break down the score. A rebuilt scoring calculator with live net-score computation, typical and non-typical handling, and species guides and anatomical references built right into the flow. Pull up a reference animal side by side, copy its values, and adjust. Every number, every deduction, every column. HornTrace — Measure from a photo. Draw reference lines on your photo against an anatomical landmark of known length, and HornTrace estimates the measurement. A guided walkthrough gets you your first trace in under a minute. BUILT NATIVE FOR IPHONE Rewritten in Swift, designed for iOS 26. Liquid Glass throughout. Instant launches, buttery scrolling, real haptics, a brand new app icon. It feels like an app Apple would ship — because it's finally built like one. YOUR SCORES, EVERYWHERE - Drafts that actually resume. Stop mid-score, come back tomorrow, pick up on the exact screen you left — every measurement, every slider, every photo intact. - Real offline. No more manual cloud upload and download. Your scores, your guides, and the HornScore Library live on your phone and sync themselves. Manage exactly what's downloaded — down to the species — from one screen. - Edit anything. Go back and change a measurement on a score from last season without starting over. - Rescore any animal in the feed, with the original photo right there behind the calculator. A REAL COMMUNITY - Direct messages, with live threads and one-tap saving of any photo someone sends you. - An activity feed and push notifications that take you exactly where you're going — right down to the comment someone left you. - Guess the Score. Post your animal, hide the number, and let the community take their shot. - Discover verified hunters, follow along, and filter the feed by official and unofficial scores. - Share a score and get back a clean, branded, full-resolution score card worth posting. GO PRO The full Field Judging suite — HornMatch, HornCalc, and HornTrace — plus advanced rescoring, advanced filtering, and detailed measurement breakdowns. Free trial available. Welcome to HornScore 2.0. Go find something worth scoring.
