I just downloaded it today and am enjoying this app. It is very easy to learn. You don’t need to sign up just as it says. It’s just download and straight to learning. I am dyslexic and this is a very easy app to use. I love that it explains everything in detail and it reminds you that it’s okay to not understand everything at first. The only thing I would like to request is being able to turn off the written word under the picture of the word during quizzes. I would like the opportunity to quiz myself both ways. I found myself looking for the word instead of being able to recognize what the word looks like.

I’ve been practicing Arabic using Duolingo for 204 days now, and while it’s been helpful, it leaves things like grammar rules and very conjugation in the realm of mystery. This app is filling me in on how the Arabic language works, giving me context and deepening my understanding of the language. I use them both now and am making much faster progress and am more confident about my ability to read and comprehend Arabic.

This app is great! I love how there is theory forced into the lesson, it truly is important with learning this language, and I love the motivational aspect! I am using this app in conjunction with classes. In my classes I have been learning to read and write as well as speak. I love the alphabet lesson and refer to it often for letter pronunciation and recognition - but I wish I was able to tap on each letter and see the initial/connected/final connected written forms. This would transform the lesson into a superpower study tool! What would be even greater is to be able to tap and hear the letter used with fatha/damma/kasra/sukun, etc.. and see if it is a sun/moon letter, etc. Sort of like a one stop shop for all things that letter. Thanks for making a great app! P.S. I think I noticed a typo in “How to Read, Class 1 Basics” This is in the example for Damma: “For example, in the word cụ (biti), both "_" (ba) and"_" (ta) have a kasra.” This is the same example for kasra so I think it is just an error. Thanks again for a great app!

If you're someone who wants to boycott Duolingo but still keep up your language practice this app is a great way to do that! You got lives and streaks that make it feel like a game. This is more learning than game even better. But I will say the stuff to read prior to the lesson just reads as AI regurgitated garbage. It says the same thing over and over again with no value. I feel bad skipping long paragraphs that are supposed to help me, but it feels like someone asked ChatGPT to say something motivational and educational about leaning languages, like ten different times.
