thank you so much to everyone who reached out with feedback~ bug fixes: - fixed strange interactions with SRS in kotodama + the main clip feed. this resulted in reviews not showing up even though the badge/tab count said there were overdue reviews. - sometimes you couldnt go to the next item in the feed without restarting the app. this should be fixed now - katakana sphere was accidentally locked previously, it should be available to everyone now new: - you can now suspend + unsuspend words by heading over to "My Cards" - added "Anki Mode", for those who want grading more similar to Anki, now the answer choices are hidden initially giving you a chance to try to recall the answer first

First off, we’ve tackled some annoying bugs that should hopefully be exterminated now. A heartfelt thank you for everyone that has reached out with feedback! Now, a quick heads-up about what’s happening behind the scenes. With the holidays on the horizon, the team is taking a bit of a breather. We’re a small group, and this project is mostly a passion effort right now. So, things will be a little quieter for the next couple of months, but don’t worry—we’ve got some big plans queued up for early next year. We already have 10 new regions designed. With them comes hundreds of fresh levels, and over a thousand new words. It’s all sitting in the pipeline, just waiting for the green light. I know some of you have sent in feedback or reported bugs that haven’t been addressed yet. I want you to know that every message gets read, even if I can’t reply right away. With this update, we’ve also squashed a critical bug related to scheduling of reviews. It is highly recommended you update to prevent any crashes/bugs. I know that our little app isn't perfect but I promise you the team is working their butts off every day to make it better for you! Related to reviews, we’ve heard you loud and clear—those unwanted reviews popping up have been wasting your time. This is your app, you should be in control! Now you can suspend cards so that they stop showing up in your reviews. Just tap the new options button (it looks like this: ...) at the top right during your review session and follow the instructions from there. This is just a quick fix for now while the team works on larger revamps to make the review process smoother and more efficient. Stay tuned! Hi everyone, I’ve got a new update for you~ So, someone *might* have accidentally introduced a bug in the last version that kept you from viewing your hard-earned cards in their full glory. Don’t worry, the person responsible has been “disciplined” accordingly (¬‿¬) Anyway, sorry for the hiccup, but now you can tap on your cards in the collection and view them again—just like they deserve to be seen. We also fixed a few translations that were a bit confusing. Turns out, clipping 2 seconds from an entire scene sometimes leaves out some crucial context. We’re working on making sure this doesn’t happen in future levels, but hey, if you spot anything off, let me know! I won’t bite… probably. If you’re loving the app, we’d really appreciate a review! Intermediate learners, no more slogging through the kana—you can dive right into the juicy new words. And if you’re feeling competitive, you can revisit previous levels and try to beat your high score. We know navigating through all the levels was a bit of a chore, so we’ve added a shiny new region picker at the top of your home screen. Now you can hop between regions with ease—no more endless scrolling! Plus, we’ve added a handy button on your home screen that lets you quickly peek at each level’s content so you can find out what you’ll be learning at a glance. That’s it for the big stuff! We’ve also tackled a few pesky bugs: - Exiting a level before making progress won’t nag you for confirmation anymore. - Definitions clipping off the screen on some devices? Fixed! - Those annoying buggy video clips? Should be all good now. If you’re loving the app, we’d really appreciate a review! I'm very excited to share that we've added 6 brand-new regions to the app. My personal favorite is the outer-space-themed region with flying rocket ships and spinning black holes~ As a part of these new regions, 186 new levels have been added, meaning there are a total of 744 new words for you to learn. As always, each word will contain multiple examples from Anime to help you contextualize your learning. Other changes include: - Furigana has been fixed for word levels. You can now see the correct hiragana above each Japanese word. - A toggle has been added to settings so that you can enable/disable the audio that plays after every correct answer during a level. Please stay tuned, as the team is working on updating the flow so you can freely skip around to different levels instead of being locked onto one path. We know this is a highly requested feature and are working hard to get it out to you ASAP!
