I wasn’t sure what to expect going in especially since I’m more familiar with chillyroom’s more bulletstorm type games. This game is actually fairly different gameplay wise - tactical rpg with up to 4 additional companions. I’m about 4-5 hours in and quite surprised by the degree of depth (both narrative and gameplay) that this game has. To some extent it becomes hard to keep track of and understand fully (some gameplay elements aren’t explained well upfront) but I’d rather see that issue rather than the game being too simple. Anyone wanting a good tactical RPG with some interesting story elements on mobile should try out the game. Hope chillyroom makes another one like this.——About 20 something hours in. Still very fun.

I like the game itself and have spent about 8 hours so far. I purchased the full game past the demo and the price is reasonable. I like the story branches so far that seem to affect the story and characters that join you.Alright so the issues with the game are that it crashes during battle, without auto saving. I was close to defeating a big story battle when the game crashed. I tried loading immediately and it took me back to my last save point. Arrrgh.. Then the next time I tried to start the game, the game wouldn’t even load. It was stuck on a black screen with “start game” at the bottom and I pressed all over and nothing. For a paid game, it should at the very least load at the start. The game itself really is excellent, however on the ipad it’s unfortunately glitchy and crashy for a paid premium game. I hope future updates will fix the bugs. Id like to play this as long as it doesn’t crash and freeze.

This is a phenomenal game with some of the most satisfying turn based combat I’ve experienced in a long time. The storyline is also more interesting than I thought when first going into it. It seems to be abandoned by the developers though, which is a shame since there are still bugs and a couple minor issues with translation in the game that could be fixed. Most of the game is translated decently, but there’s occasional Chinese that slips through into descriptions and such.

This is a great game, and I highly recommend if you’re coming here from Hero’s Adventure. Unfortunately, a game-breaking bug severely undermines that experience. After roughly 80 hours of gameplay, I joined the Little East sect like a coward and immediately lost access to all my save files. From that point on, the game freezes every time I attempt to load, and there is currently no known fix on iOS. As you can imagine, I was completely devastated and almost broke off my engagement with my fiancé. Luckily, cooler heads had prevailed. If these bugs are resolved, this would easily rank among the best turn-based RPGs I’ve ever played. As it stands, the risk of losing an entire playthrough makes it hard to recommend without hesitation.
