New, but Fun
Newest game from chillyroom! i know ill be too lazy to change the rating, so im giving it a 5 instead of a 4* rating, because i know chillyroom will listen to us and make this game better. It is early release days after all, only coming out 2 hours before i wrote this review. This game is much like pacman, but much harder and challenging with Binding of Issac like collectables- theres tons to get throughout the game! The only flaw this game has is the difficulty and speed. I wish there was an option to play the game in 2x speed, thatd be cool. The difficulty isnt exactly bad but its not really balanced. For example, theres a powerup that gives infinite diamonds, thats seems wayyy too overpowered. Of course, more content is always appreciated, so i reccommend something like soul knight's furniture or character upgrades, something to use our stars on, because buying characters is definitely going to be quick once you start picking this game up. Thanks for such a nice game, chillyroom!
Good Concept, Needs Polish
This game has a ton of potential, but with the lack of a proper tutorial and very unbalanced mechanics, players are left to figure nearly everything out. This works for soul knight because it’s an intuitive top down dungeon crawler, but it doesn’t work for this game.
A lot of items are either too overpowered or nearly useless. Black card needs to be reworked because it nearly guarantees a victory. The revive items are pretty useless because you’re not supposed to try to die. To be fair to the devs, they did a good job with the balloon power up and a couple other ones.
The game isn’t very polished. I died and lost during the end scene, I got access to and unlocked the black card at the very beginning, and the saw power up sometimes doesn’t work. The other problem I have is a bit personal and detailed which is how the decorative stuff in the shop doesn’t have its own hitbox.
The tutorial is woefully inadequate and only teaches you the controls and a couple basic mechanics. Personally, I figured everything out, but other reviews show confused people who didn’t. If your game confuses one person, that’s their fault. If your game confuses a ton of people, that’s on you.
This is a good concept, with adequate execution. This game is good enough to stand on its own, but because of its many issues, it isn’t a remarkable game or a very memorable one. Rework your mechanics and add those little details that truly make the worlds you craft come to life.
Developer Response ,
Thank you very much for the review. For us, feedback is gold especially in early releases. We will continue improving our game based on all the feedback we got from our players.
Not worth playing
Bad power-ups, useless weapons (bombs don’t always hit even if you’re lined up perfectly, and the sawtooth thing lasts just long enough for it to disappear right when you touch the enemy so you get hurt), utterly unintuitive and pointless shops.
For example, i bought a power up that said “turns you into a tank” so i thought i finally got a good power up, but the stupid thing about this game is that power ups do not last very long at all and seem to wear off if you change rooms, completely breaking the function of buying potential upgrades from the shop.
Another example, i completed a tetris puzzle, only to be rewarded with bombs and an invincibility shield that lasted all of 5 seconds.
A few tips for improvement:tighten the controls and make it where the player doesn’t just keep sliding after you let off the controls, it’s stupid and causes a lot of avoidable damage. Make upgrades and power ups say what they do when you stand close to them instead of having to gamble on trash that won’t work anyway.

Thank you for the review of power-ups and control. We will continue improving the game based on the valuable feedback of our players. We now have 3 types of controls with adjustable buttons in the game. Pause the game and tap on the joystick button, and then you should be able to customize your control. Hope it helps a bit.
