I’m 42 years old and live in America. I only recently started trying to learn about meditation and the yogic principles of life. I started by coming across sadhgurus channel and I found it amazing what he was saying. I watched hours and hours and hours trying to understand where should I begin? I’m so new to this and so then I bought four of his books. I started reading inner engineering. I’m just about finished with that and I decided to download some apps because I wanted a place to start and unfortunately I don’t have someone in my life like a guru to just teach me and show me exactly how to do it and I find that this app really helps just get you started and even though I’ve only been doing meditation for two or three weeks. I have noticed a great difference not only in my sleep but my patience the fact that I feel like I can control my thoughts more like calm down when I want to etc. I love it. Imagine if I have not eaten for 7 days and if I do not get something today, I might not survive, I might not make it at all....as a beggar, I have to survive as long as I'm alive, so imagine you giving me this alms every day for my life. I am begging you for just 7 minutes of your day. If you and me practice a 7-minute meditation every day then you and me for sure survive, Imagine if we can get our families to practice the same 7 minute meditation for sure our families will turn wonderful, just Imagine if our neighbors and friends just give 7 minutes every day for their mental wellbeing then our minds will be healthy we'll be happy and our worlds will turn wonderful.
