For context, I am 43 and have been lifting weights on and off for 20+ years and consistently for the past seven years. I’ve done all the programs - Peloton, Beach Body, etc. but nothing compares to Loa! I started about four months ago and am totally hooked. Here’s what I love: Lauren is a physical therapist so she understands and teaches the body’s mechanics in a way I have never experienced before in a fitness class. Her cues are incredibly helpful, and the breathing techniques she teaches really complement the strength training and bring relief to some of my problem areas (low back!). Lauren is also very engaged on the platform and will answer questions promptly and in detailed fashion as well as respond to and encourage all of the community members. Finally, I love Lauren because of how real she is. For instance, she admits when a move is hard for her, and she drops a heavy weight when it’s too much for her. And her tone is so conversational and encouraging. It’s truly like you are in the room with her - we work out hard, we take care of our bodies (in a healthy way - she never talks about weight management or body composition), we learn the science behind what we are doing, and we have some fun. I should also mention that she programs five days of classes per week but does it in such a way that you can just do three of them and still hit all the body parts. That’s what I have been doing (plus daily walks), and I have definitely seen improved strength and muscle tone since beginning. And most importantly, I feel amazing!

LOA and Lauren are incredible! I’m literally blown away at the attention to detail in the programming of the classes as well as the personalized attention and responsiveness to the members. It’s totally unmatched on any other platform I’ve experienced plus the vibe is just right! No pressure, crazy claims or intensity that just get me more stressed out lol. I feel thoroughly worked out but not stressed, like my nervous system has been reset. Plus my joints never hurt like in other programs, which is really important to me postmenopausal and 55 with a total hip replacement and arthritis. With a degree in Exercise Science and post-PT trainer, I truly appreciate how everything is backed by all the recent science, never trends! Plus the community is wonderful- Lauren responds personally to every single comment and works tirelessly to improve the platform, consistently incorporating member requests. She is so genuine and a total gem! I mean where else can you have a Doctor of Physical Therapy design such thorough, fun and effective programming (plus a newly added Postural Restoration expert led program)?? I am truly beyond impressed and so grateful I found LOA! I feel like it’s only going to continue to get better and better!

This app and Lauren are a breath of fresh air in an industry full of more, more, more!I have been in the industry myself for 30 yrs. Sometimes I don’t want to create my own programs and that’s where I was at when I found Lauren. I’m always skeptical, but, I saw that Lauren has a PRI background so I signed right up. The 14 day free trial made it a no brainer. When I’ve done other pros programs before I always end up changing things to suit how I like to program. Not with Lauren. My own programming is a little different, but, i am truly enjoying it and her programming is well thought out and flexible. It’s a nice way to get out of my bubble and stirs up my own creativity. Her cueing is perfection and the energy she brings is delightful. Not your fake hype with language that makes you cringe. She’s genuine. And the app! As some who has created their own online program before—she has nailed it! It’s easy to follow. It’s flexible. I had a question and I posted in the community and she was on it immediately. I can’t say enough good about her and the experience thus far. I’m about 2 weeks in. Definitely give it a go!

I have been doing LOA movement for just about a year now. I started my journey with this app/program after becoming a new mom. What I love about LOA are the length of the classes, the challenge, the community, the strategic lifting sequences utilizing gravity and physics AND Dr. Lauren the creator of this amazing program. Classes are 35 mins and under. You’re lifting weights and doing 3 sets in targeted areas. Lifting without hurting yourself, Lauren Is phenomenal at providing instructions during the workouts to help you with each movement and all the breath work. The community is very active and fun and any questions you ask are always answered by Lauren she also goes above and beyond and will do videos on certain movements to help us all. You’ll have a library full of amazing workouts you can choose from. She posts a new set of workouts every Sunday for the upcoming week for us to follow along with if we choose to do that vs picking random classes. Its a split program so you aren’t doing full body every day of the week. She has cardio included as well and in addition too. Whatever your jam is. Highly recommend!
