Great fitness programming / Meh but serviceable app

The fitness programming is great. I did CrossFit for years but a recent job change with a massive schedule change I needed to change things and this is perfect. It has everything you need and great options and modifications for everything too, and clear directions. The app itself can be buggy and slow at times but overall for a first time launch I think it’s fine. It’s definitely better than the webpage version, having to bookmark a page and all that was such a nightmare imo.

Worst UX I’ve ever experienced

Programming is great. I love having a program created for me that more or less is attenuated to my goals. It also switches up the workouts on 6 week cycles so even if you’re on the same program, you’ll be mixing it up enough to avoid plateau. That is the only reason it gets 2 stars. The app itself is horrible and infuriating. Every time it updates it somehow gets worse. It straight up will not load sometimes, workouts are logged arbitrarily and sometimes you’ll have no record of an exercise you’ve done dozens of times, it’s ridiculously clunky. This app drives me insane and I hate it and I may finally be motivated enough to find another app with comparable programming but a halfway useable app

Poor User Experience

Super frustrating app experience overall and it’s lacking user friendliness. I miss using the browser version, which was simple and easy to see your training day in one scroll. There are entirely too many clicks just to see the run down of each movement/section. When you click into your training day, you should see everything in detail right there. Keep it simple and reduce the number of clicks just to see information. If you don’t check off each completed set before you type in the next one, it messes up the order of your reps or weight. It did this multiple times. I dread using the app each training session and would love to see improvements.

New app is terrible! I was perfectly happy with the website version. This is clunky and convoluted. You have to hit a bazillion links to get to the section you want. The “built in timer“ is pathetically small and worthless on the screen. To view basic workout details takes forever. They ruined this program by trying to shove too much stupid junk into the app. Signing up was a nightmare, had to reach out to support several times until I could actually access the workouts after purchase. Confirmation email was supposed to include temporary password, but was completely neglected after taking my credit card number. App and account are not linked so you have to login multiple times just to see everything you need.
