This app and the program is a great way to learn about and improve your pelvic floor health (and more!) from an experienced, knowledgeable, and caring pelvic floor physical therapist. As someone who has been a patient of Dr. Cassell's and helped beta test, I appreciated her in-depth discussions and explanations, demonstration of exercises including progressive variations to make key exercises easier or harder, and the choice of 5-minute and 20-minute routines. Prior to finding Desiree, I tried a different app for pelvic floor issues with no improvement despite following the daily exercises. What’s special about this program is that along with the content for self-paced learning/training wherever you are, you get the guidance of a terrific professional PT who is a fellow mom and easy to talk to. You can ask questions live in group coaching calls or chat privately, sharing photos or video clips so she can see what’s happening. Desiree helped me understand the different causes of my symptoms and how the pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation. She was able to help me with my knee issues as well and anything else that comes up. I use her tips for releasing soft tissue tightness with manual therapy like a lacrosse ball all the time. I appreciate that she is building a community of support and making pelvic floor PT available to women who don’t have access where they live or can’t afford multiple in-person appointments.
