After School by Kangarootime is exclusively for staff who work directly with students in before and after school programs. Whether you run a before school program, an after school program, or anything in between, After School gives you what you need to stay organized and keep every student safe throughout the day. BUILT FOR SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS School-age programs run differently than other care environments. Students arrive at different times, move between spaces throughout the day, and need to be released only to the right people at the end of it. After School was designed from the start with that reality in mind, so the features fit the way your program actually runs. WHAT YOU CAN DO: • Take and manage student attendance quickly and accurately. • Track student movements throughout the day so you always know where each child is. • View expected attendance before the day starts so you know who is coming. • Access student information including schedules, health and wellness needs, authorized contacts, and approved pickup people. • Record staff presence with students to maintain proper supervision records. • Confirm and document exactly who each student is released to at the end of the day. ALWAYS IN SYNC After School connects directly to the Kangarootime platform, so student information is always up to date. Data flows in automatically — no duplicate work, no gaps. SAFE. SIMPLE. SMART. After School by Kangarootime is built to reduce the administrative burden on staff so they can spend more time focused on the students they are with. Every feature exists to help staff stay on top of who is in their care and to make sure students only leave at the right time and with the right people. NOTE: After School by Kangarootime requires an active Kangarootime account. This app is designed for staff working directly with students in before and after school programs.

*NEW* Shared Mode! • On first launch, staff may configure After School to be in Shared Mode -- meaning the app is installed on a device shared by multiple staff. • Once switched over, the currently active user will be shown on the home page and on the user profile as "Acting As". • Any action will now show the active staff near the top of the dialog. Staff can quickly make themselves active as needed. • Shared mode can be turned off under Settings. The app will end the current session, then any staff can log in as before. *NEW* Confirm care - Staff can quickly confirm students in care from within a class.
