Word Jam makes building your vocabulary simple: each game level contains a list of words that have been jumbled up, and your task is to figure out what categories they belong to and merge those 4 words together. This puzzle adds extra layers, with new words appearing in later levels, and the use of emojis and icons to make guessing extra fun! ◾ Multiple merging – like typical word merging games, Word Jam has set levels where you’ll need to search for and connect the matching words or objects. Where it gets extra fun is that as you progress, the puzzle levels increase in difficulty! Not all of the words may be visible at first, and sometimes the sets you’ve matched will reappear in the form of an object that is itself part of a new set.
◾ Chill puzzling – making associations between words and training your brain can be hard as it is, so why make it harder? Thanks to the lack of timer and ability to get hints and help, you’ll never find yourself completely stuck on a level or worried about your reaction time– there’s always a way to solve it! You’ll be able to fly through puzzles or sit and work through them at your own pace, the choice is yours.

I gave this game four stars because I love it, but I have one problem with it. When you get to the final tiles I always want to see what the category is that those tiles belong to, but the game goes away too quickly, and I don’t get to read what the category is. I would easily give it five stars if I could see the category headings before the game goes to the next puzzle. Please!!!!
Good but needs to be better

The game is cool with matching words to complete categories and they have hint tiles to help you but you are only given those once at the beginning. You then have to watch ads to gain more which is annoying. They have bonus rounds but you don’t get anything for playing them. Nor do you get anything for advancing to the next level so it’s like what’s the point. It would be great if you gave help bonuses at level completions, bonus rounds and daily claims for playing. It also repeats the same words a lot. That’s minor because the categories change but it gets stale after a while. I’ve only been playing for a few days and it’s giving it will get phased out soon in my game rotation. These updates would really help the game be more rewarding and engaging to play.

It was a lot of fun at first. I don’t mind the adds as long as they stay working. But, almost all of the Kashi adds and the other “trade” adds either loop or the screen freezes and the only way out is to completely exit the app, go to a different game for a while and then try this app again. Sometimes that doesn’t even work. This problem doesn’t seem to happen with the other adds in this game. Just these.I know that could buy an add free version but I’ve seen negative reviews of those. If you could just fix the problems with the adds, that would be great.

Interesting game but excessive ads.

I understand ads are generally needed in order to provide a revenue stream for developers, but when the ads interrupt the actual stage, that's a major impediment to playing and enjoying the puzzles. Especially when there's already constant banner ads (including a broken(?) one that is nothing but rapid flashes and flickers). Leave the full-screen ads to before or after the stage, but in the middle of a stage breaks a person's chain of thought, making it needlessly more difficult to play and enjoy the puzzles.
