I’m a real person, human and flesh and stuff. This game is really good if ur looking for cool weapons and abilities to grind for and not just easily get. At the start they give you a bunch of boxes with really good loot but you have to level up to get them. The combat is pretty good and engaging, i’ve been glued for about couple hours now. The leveling system is pretty slow, but so far in my 6-7 hours of playing it does not seem pay to win. The monsters and creatures are unique and different every level which is cool. Hope to see more great things as i continue playing.
Crafting & gear hold it back

Love the game. The build diversity is good but, and this is the sad part, only if you grind a ridiculous amount for specific gear…This game relies too heavily on gambling and getting lucky on item drops. That would be fine if the game also didn’t have 1000 niche stats on items that get in the way of actual useful affixes you would want. Things like reptile resistance or darkness damage on a weapon that does light damage…Overall, what this game lacks the most is crafting… All the blacksmith does is upgrade the base damage of an item.Instead, I would like to see the ability to reroll affixes, or break down items to unlock specific affixes to put onto items for X resource cost… or upgrade specific affixes..In my main build I run an on hit basic attack build and it only works if my weapons have good attack speed and good on hit effects.., too bad then I can’t target farm upgrade or buy specific weapons or specific affixes… Even the ability to reroll affixes with gold or like I said add an affix to a rare item for X amount of rare resources would change the game so much…A much better loop would look like:Find rare and magic items: disenchant them for a random chance to permanently unlock their affixes to enchant on new gear. Get enchant stones as drops. Enchant gear with an affix up to X amount of affixes per rarity, with those affixes giving a random range of value like: enchant strength onto a weapon: 1-12 strength… so there’s still variance in gear and enchanting the perfect weapon is still hard to do and expensive but unlocks builds easier and makes crafting actually useful
An exercise of my patience.

I really tried with this game, but man is it just boring. Ignoring that fact that most of the good gear comes from the boxes from the spinning wheel minigame, and all chests on the map only have 2 gold and maybe a piece of scrap metal, combat is just so janky and slow.Animation speed needs to be cranked up by around 200%, you have pitifully slow gameplay. Here’s what happens. You run into a pack of mobs, you press auto attack to charge your skills (you cannot cast skills on demand), this auto attack puts you into an animation lock where you can’t move or do any other actions, often taking a second or longer depending on weapon, in this time a swarm of enemies has ran at you and your skills still haven’t charged. You kite the enemies backwards or forward, running into another pack, aggroing them too, meaning you now have around 10+ enemies chasing, you press your damage skill, now charged. It doesn’t kill, or maybe only kills 1-2 enemies. You return to slowly auto attacking enemies one by one. If auto attacks are going to be a primary mechanic to use your other skills, they need to be smooth as butter and actually do decent damage to mobs. Currently the animation speed and lock make it feel awkward to use. I’m at the naga boss right now, and can’t attack in melee because the auto attack on a scythe is so massive that I get hit twice and lose 90% of my health. I can’t use skills because it’s tied to auto attacking. This isn’t even counting the fact that skills further out on the tree are level locked, so I can’t actually play the builds I want to play. The whole game feels like a slog, the story is boring, and it’s honestly a disappointment coming from the same team as Anima.
Slow but passible

I started as a caster class, even bought the wand upgrade and a little pet frog to support the game as I loved anima. I am finding progression quite slow. I also have been playing ARPG since Diablo one and like a slower pace, but this is a little bit too slow. I always try to make a summoner on my first go and you have to be at least level 12 to begin to get there in this game. The game played while not exactly challenging is monotonous with only three abilities to use. I don’t feel particularly powerful but I also don’t feel like the game is difficult. It’s just a slog. The technical side, however, works great, no bugs and everything runs smoothly. They need to focus on creating fun gameplay. I will try a while longer, but finding the will to go on will be tough.
