Notify - Web & Script Notifier
Website and Script Monitoring
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Monitor Websites & RSS Feeds. Get Alerts From Anything. No Servers Required.
Get instant alerts when a website changes, an RSS feed updates, or your own scripts and devices need your attention. No accounts, no servers, no technical setup.
START MONITORING IN SECONDS
Add any website or RSS feed with a tap. Send notifications from any script, server, or web app with a single webhook call. Your device does the work, so there is nothing to host and nothing to sign up for.
WATCH THE WEB
• Visual change detection with side-by-side comparisons, so you see exactly what changed
• RSS, Atom, and JSON Feed monitoring: paste a site address and Notify! finds the feeds for you
• Check intervals from 15 minutes to 7 days, per site
• CSS selectors narrow a watch to one part of a page, like a price or a stock status
ALERTS FROM YOUR OWN SCRIPTS
• Every device gets a personal webhook URL that anything can call: a shell script, a CI pipeline, Home Assistant, Homebridge, or plain curl
• Custom sender icons and full-size images
• Device Groups give several devices one shared URL, so one call reaches every screen you own
LIVE ACTIVITIES
• Put a live tile on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, driven by the same simple URLs
• Progress bars move in place and countdowns tick on their own, even while the app is closed
• Made for anything with a duration: a build, a backup, a delivery, a 3D print, a wash cycle
BEACONS: MONITORING IN REVERSE
• Instead of telling you when something happens, a beacon tells you when something STOPS happening
• Paste its ping URL into a cron job or backup script. If the ping does not arrive in time, you hear about it
• The only way to find out that the thing which was supposed to alert you has itself gone quiet
EVERY SCREEN YOU OWN
• Home screen widgets, and a full year of searchable history
SIMPLE FOR EVERYONE, DEEP FOR PROS
No coding needed for websites and feeds. Developers get a documented API, Shortcuts and Siri support.
YOUR PRIVACY, YOUR CHOICE
Local Mode: everything runs on device. No external connections.
Notifications Only: a pure push receiver for your webhooks and automations.
Server Mode: connect your own ChangeDetection.io instance.
MDM ready: alert your teams across managed devices.
Notify! can run in local-only mode, which shares nothing but a random device ID and token not tied to any personal information. Notifications Only and Server modes process data with your consent to enable cloud functions such as automation tools, cross-device delivery, and Shortcuts support, and are likewise not tied to any personal information.
WHY NOTIFY!
Traditional monitoring wants a server, a subscription, and an afternoon. Notify! works in seconds, whether you are tracking a price, following a release feed, or catching alerts from your own code. Start simple and go as deep as you like.
Download now and start monitoring in seconds.
more Solved a problem in such an easy and simple and affordable way I didn’t know was possible. I no longer have to obsessively check websites for changes, but I don’t have to pay a fortune for a web service to do it for me either. Simple, local, fast. Incredibly happy to have found this app.
Developer Response Glad you love it! We will never change and designed the app for people like you!

If you want custom notifications. This is the one, and it works with shortcuts. What more can I say. I only wish there was a way I could add custom response endpoint so I can respond to notifications and trigger events.

6.10.24 Oct 24
Fixed a regression with localization on widgets.
6.10.20 Oct 20
Adding French and German localization. Thank you to all the Notify users in France and Germany!

Ready for iPhone Duo, and a Live Activity fix.
On iPhone Duo, open the phone and Notify! uses both halves: your tabs on one side, your notification history or your beacons on the other, your choice
Open the Notification Builder on a Duo and the second pane becomes a Lock Screen preview that updates as you type, for notifications and Live Activities
On every other iPhone and iPad, nothing moves. The layout only changes when the phone has a fold
A Live Activity button set to open a link now opens the link. It used to open Notify! instead
The Notifications screen no longer offers two ways into Settings
The Notification Builder's preview shows the app icon again
Small fixes and improvements throughout
6.10.07 Oct 8
Support for the iPhone Duo
6.10.06 Oct 7
Better onboarding if you use Notify! for notifications only.
• The first screen now opens with what you can do: build a notification, set one up in Shortcuts, or watch for a job that stops reporting. The terminal example is still there, further down
• A new Shortcuts guide walks you through sending a notification from a shortcut or an automation. It opens the Shortcuts app right on Notify!'s own actions, so there is nothing to search for
• Your device ID and token sit next to the step that needs them, ready to copy
• Small fixes and improvements throughout
6.09.09 Sep 8
Fixes.
• Metric chips on Home Screen widgets and Live Activities can now show one solid bar instead of ten segments, when the script sending them asks for it. That request used to be ignored
• Small fixes and improvements throughout
6.09.06 Sep 7
Home Screen widgets: a tile your scripts keep up to date.
HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
• A new widget in small, medium and large: a progress bar, stages, a countdown that ticks on its own, a small grid of numbers, even a button
• Then add the Notify! Dashboard widget to your Home Screen, touch and hold it, and choose Edit Widget to pick which one it shows
6.09.03 Sep 5
Your Lock Screen learns a new trick: widgets whose values your scripts keep fresh.
NEW: LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS
• A widget is one value worth glancing at: a temperature, a queue depth, sales today
• Your scripts update it through one simple URL; anything that can fetch a web address is a full client
• Nothing is pushed and nothing drains your battery
CREATE THEM IN THE APP
• Settings, Create, Lock Screen Widgets: type a title and a value and watch the live preview
• Copy the update URL with one tap and hand it to any script, shortcut, or automation
• Create up to 10 per device, each with its own symbol and color
6.09.01 Aug 31
Your Lock Screen tiles grow up in this release: new layouts, their own colors, and a button your phone fires itself.
NEW: STAGE PROGRESS
• Send a total and a count and the tile's bar becomes lit stage segments: 3 of 5, at a glance
• Made for deploys, backups, pipelines, and any job that moves through steps
• The 3/5 fraction carries to the Dynamic Island and your watch
NEW: LIVE DASHBOARDS
• Up to six values in colored chips, right on the tile: server health, sales, anything worth a glance
• Percentages grow a mini bar inside their chip, and each value can have its own color
• Any short value works: 87% and $1.2k are equally at home
NEW: TILE BUTTONS
• A tile can carry one button: Cancel, Pause, Dashboard, your call
• Tapping fires a web request straight FROM YOUR PHONE, or opens a link
• Because your phone does the firing, even a printer or server on your home network responds
• Notify's servers only deliver the button; they are never involved in the tap
EVERYTHING COMBINES
• There is no layout picker: the fields you send are the layout, and they mix
• A deploy tile can show stages, a countdown, and a Cancel button at once
NEW: LIVE ACTIVITIES IN SHORTCUTS
• Start, Update, and End actions in the Shortcuts app, with the Activity ID flowing between steps
• End with no ID finishes your device's live tile, perfect for the end of an automation
SHORTCUTS SPEAK JSON NOW
• Every Notify! action returns JSON, ready for Get Dictionary from Input
• Get My Device Credentials includes ready-made notify and Live Activity URLs, so nothing is assembled by hand
6.08.28 Aug 28
Improvements to Live Activities
6.08.26 Aug 27
Your scripts can now light up the Lock Screen. This release brings Live Activities: live tiles with moving progress bars and ticking countdowns, driven by the same simple URLs you already use for notifications.
NEW: LIVE ACTIVITIES:
A single API call puts a live tile on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, even while the app is closed
Progress bars move in place, countdowns tick on their own, and the tile leaves when the job ends
One URL runs the whole tile: call it to start, call again to update, add end=1 to finish
Perfect for 3D prints, laundry, backups, deploys, or anything a script can measure
NEW: LIVE ACTIVITY BUILDER
The Builder gains a Live Activity tab: pick a symbol from a gallery, watch a live preview, then copy URL, cURL, and JavaScript examples that just work
NEW: BREAK THROUGH FOCUS
Ask for a time-sensitive notification and it can cut through Focus and quiet hours
A master switch on this device always has the final say
READY FOR YOUR NEXT PHONE
Moving to a new phone keeps your links, beacons, and groups safe, with new protection against an old phone undoing the move
LONGER MESSAGES, KEPT IN FULL
Send up to 16 KB of text. The notification shows a short version and the whole message waits for you in History
Your notification titles now stay put instead of turning generic after a sync
TAP STRAIGHT TO IT
Tapping a notification opens that exact message in History, full text and all, instead of just opening the app
OPEN WHERE YOU WANT
New Open To setting: choose the screen the app opens to after you have been away, or keep landing right where you left off
WHAT'S NEW, IN THE APP
After an update, a quick What's New screen shows the highlights once, then lives on in Settings

New Beacons: monitoring in reverse. Create a beacon, drop its ping URL into a cron job, backup script, or any device that can hit a URL, and get alerted the moment the pings stop, again when they resume, and on a schedule you choose while they stay down.
Beacons can alert just your device or a whole Device Group, pause cleanly for planned maintenance, and each device and group gets 10 beacon slots with your usage always visible.
The new Devices tab brings Device Groups and Beacons together in one hub, with live status chips and a red badge the moment anything is down.
Notification Builder rebuilt: a live banner-style preview, cleaner fields with a character counter, and generated URL, JSON, cURL, and JavaScript examples that are always copy-paste correct, even with quotes and symbols in your message.
Polish everywhere: refreshed History rows and Settings, live-ticking timestamps, confirmation before deleting sites and groups, better dark mode contrast, and clearer errors when a QR scan grabs the wrong kind of code.
6.07.21 Jul 22
Delivery status on notifications: every push and group alert now shows whether it reached your device, with a clear Delivered or Delivery Failed marker when you open it from History.
Smarter History: new notifications are marked unread and mirrored onto the app icon badge, and you can clear the whole list in one tap with Mark All as Read.
In-app feedback: a new composer in Settings for bug reports and feature requests, with an optional privacy-safe diagnostics snapshot.
6.07.05 Jul 7
This release adds in in app feedback mechanism!
6.06.12 Jun 13
For those who are used to our lengthy release notes, this will be a disappointment.
This release is all about speed. Every area of the app has gotten an optimization to load faster. Also fixed a regression with ATOM 3.0 feeds.
6.06.10 Jun 12
This is a housekeeping release:
WHAT'S FIXED
• No more force quits: a networking leak that built up over time has been eliminated
• Lighter refreshes: each watch-list refresh now makes a single request instead of two
• Faster offline detection: offline shows right away and clears automatically when you reconnect
CLEARER MESSAGES
• Slow servers and unreachable servers now show distinct, accurate status
Everything you already set up keeps working exactly as before.
6.05.28 Jun 2
Your Notifications Just Got a Lot More Visual
Push notifications are no longer limited to text and a tiny icon. This update brings full-size images inside your notifications plus a brand-new web-based Notification Builder.
HERO IMAGES IN NOTIFICATIONS
Send a full-size image that appears right inside the notification - no more squinting at tiny favicons. JPEG, PNG, and animated GIF — all supported
Perfect for security camera snapshots, chart screenshots, delivery photos, product images, weather radar
NEW NOTIFICATION BUILDER (WEB)
A brand-new builder page at notify.pingie.com/builder makes crafting and testing notifications effortless.
• Live code examples — every field you fill in instantly updates example code in URL, JSON, cURL, JavaScript, and Python
• Icon upload — upload an image and it's automatically resized and hosted for you
• Real send — press "Send notification" and an actual push lands on your device for immediate testing
• No login required — just enter your Device or Group ID and token
ICONS + HERO IMAGES WORK TOGETHER
• Icon = small circular sender avatar (who sent it)
• Hero Image = full-size picture shown when the notification is expanded
• Use either, or both at the same time
Every existing integration keeps working exactly as before — the new fields are completely optional.
Tip: Long-press (or pull down on) any notification with a hero image to see it full-size!
