v1.2.9 — Card payments for Pro and Premium. Accept card payments on any invoice (Pro+): Set up Stripe Connect in a minute from Business Settings, Card Payments. Stripe handles ID and bank verification on their side; once you're verified, every invoice you share via Share as Link shows a Pay-by-Card button to your customer. They pay; the invoice flips to Paid; money goes directly to your bank. QuoteCat never takes a cut of any payment, ever. The no-fee methods, Zelle, cash, check, are there for everyone. Card always carries a processor fee (Stripe's, not ours); a couple of other methods can too. You keep about 97 percent of card payments. Stripe takes around 2.9 percent plus 30 cents. Tappable payment methods on the invoice link (Pro+): Customers tap the Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal entry and the payment app opens with your handle and the invoice amount already filled in. Partial-payment correctness: The Pay button now shows the actual remaining balance. If you've recorded a partial in cash or check, the customer only sees what's still due, never the full original total. Stripe payments now record into your invoice payment history alongside cash, check, and Venmo records. Most contractors will never enable card payments because Venmo and Zelle handle the job. That's the point. It's here when you need it.
