- YapTab Posts can NOW be cross-posted to FORUMS! You can now make a post to the timeline and simultaneously have it permanently show up in a related forum after the YapDay ends!
- University Tribes FULLY implemented! Join your school's group and invite other students so that they'll be able to join in on the conversation!
- Video Yap Bugs FULLY FIXED! You can now post videos up to 3 minutes (with an option to trim) to the YapTab, Forums and Tribes!
- "My Friend" and "Similar to Me" badges now fully implemented ALL OVER THE APP! You can now look through the app and find users who are your friends OR users who have similar tags to you! You can now see this fully work!
- The official AfroYap Moderation Team account is now a clean system account that is FULLY functional.

- University tribe invite links now work end to end — signing up or logging in takes you straight into the tribe.
- Trim your videos before posting — cut a clip down to just the part you want, right in the compose screen.
- The public tribe invite page got a visual refresh, including a live carousel of community members.
- Vertical (portrait) videos now display correctly on the feed — bigger, left-aligned, and never cut off at the sides.
- Remove individual photos or videos from your Avatar Media in Edit Profile instead of having to clear them all.
- The Edit Profile "Save" button now only activates when you've actually made a change.
- Moderators get a full audit feed plus tools to review reports and take action across the app.
- The official AfroYap Moderation Team account is now a clean system account that is fully functional.

- Video on yaps — yaps now support attaching one video per post with a
3-minute cap and a slider to pick which window plays if the source is longer.
- Social media icons clickable — fixed the layered stacking that was
swallowing taps on Instagram / Snapchat / TikTok / X icons under the profile
banner.
- Push notification routing — tapping a push (native or web) now opens the
source content directly instead of dropping you into the app's current screen.
- Friend count on user detail — the friends number in the user-detail modal is
now fetched live (matches the profile screen) and rendered in brand blue.
- Recent yap card refresh — the user-detail modal pulls the actual newest
non-deleted yap (with images and tap-to-enlarge) instead of a stale
denormalized snapshot.
- Portfolio lightbox — clicking a portfolio picture in the user-detail modal
now actually pops the full-screen viewer (was rendering behind the modal).
- Discover pull-to-refresh removed — the swipe-down gesture is gone, fixing
accidental refreshes during normal scrolling.
- Legion iOS broadcast per version — the "Send iOS Update Notification" button
now takes a typed App Store version (e.g. 1.5) and is re-enabled for each new
release instead of being one-and-done forever.
