Most packing apps make you start over every trip. PackKit remembers your gear: log it once, reuse it forever, and never start from a blank list again. PackKit is a packing app for iPhone. You build a personal catalog of your gear, create trips, and check items off as you pack your bags. Everything is visible so you never forget important items again. Your inventory: Add everything you'd pack once: clothing, electronics, toiletries, documents, bags. When you update an item's details, every trip that includes it updates too. Build it out over time and it becomes your master packing reference. Trips: Create a trip with a name, destination, and dates. Add items from your inventory, drop them into containers (suitcase, backpack, packing cube), and arrange them the way you actually pack. Drag to reorder. Nest containers inside each other. Anything not in a bag sits in an Unassigned section at the bottom so you know what needs sorted out. Packing: The Pack tab shows your active trip as a checklist. Tap to check items off. Haptic feedback fires on every tap. A progress bar tracks how far along you are. Get to 100% and PackKit throws you a little celebration. Reminders: Set a due date on a trip and you get a push notification when it's time to start packing. PackKit also sends two reminders in the days before you leave to keep you on track. Templates: Really happy with your list for this trip? Save it as a template. Next time you travel the same way, start from that list instead of rebuilding it. Pro: A Pro subscription adds item weight tracking with color-coded per-bag indicators, configurable checked and carry-on weight limits, the ability to share a read-only trip link with friends and family, exporting your list to PDF, unlimited trips and templates, and a home screen widget that shows live packing progress.
