Yardage Buddy fixes that by measuring your real distances — shot by shot, round by round — so you always know which club to pull.
How It Works
Tap to mark where your shot starts, select your club and swing effort, then tap again where the ball lands. Yardage Buddy uses GPS to calculate the precise distance and adds it to your personal statistics. Over time, a clear picture of your game emerges: your true carry distance for every club at every effort level.
Wedge Matrix
The wedge matrix is the feature most golfers reach for first. It shows your average carry at full, 3/4, and 1/2 swing efforts for every club in your bag. Instead of guessing whether a smooth 9-iron or a punchy pitching wedge gets you to 105 yards, you can look it up. These are your numbers, measured on real courses, not range estimates.
Club Statistics
For each club, Yardage Buddy shows your average distance along with your shortest and longest carries. Browse results by year to track how your distances change with a new driver, a swing change, or simply as the season progresses.
Round History
Every round is saved with the course name, date, and a full shot-by-shot breakdown by hole. Tap into any past round to review exactly what you hit and how far. It is like having a caddie who never forgets.
Tracks Effort, Not Just Clubs
A full 7-iron and a punch 7-iron are not the same shot. Yardage Buddy logs swing effort alongside each shot, so your averages reflect how you actually play, not just how hard you swing.
Share Your Stats
Share branded stat cards of your club averages and wedge matrix directly to social media. It is a quick way to settle debates about who hits it farther.
Syncs Across Devices
Your rounds and statistics sync automatically, so you can review your data on the web even when you are not on the course.
