SignalKind helps you check a message's tone, find clearer wording and draft a reply before you choose what to send. Use it for emails, work messages, family conversations and the difficult things you have put off saying.

CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND
Send Check highlights wording that may sound accusatory or escalate a conversation, explains the concern and suggests alternatives. It uses local rules on supported devices. You decide what to change.
EXPLORE A DIFFERENT TONE
On eligible Apple Intelligence devices, try calm, direct, warm or professional rewrites. Read the suggestions and choose the version that sounds like you. SignalKind does not send messages for you.
MAKE SENSE OF A REPLY
Decode offers possible readings of a received message, including its tone, requests and deadlines. It cannot know the sender's intention, so your own context still matters.
START THE DIFFICULT MESSAGE
Use guided templates for requests, boundaries, apologies, work and family conversations. Search the phrase guide for clearer alternatives, or save a draft and return to it later.
A FREE KEYBOARD
The SignalKind keyboard checks wording in supported text fields and remains free. Eligible devices can also offer on-device rewrites, subject to available extension memory. Secure fields and some apps restrict third-party keyboards. A share extension, widgets and shortcuts help you reach the app's tools.
DEVICE PROCESSING AND YOUR CHOICES
Message checking uses local rules. Supported Rewrite and Decode run on your device with Apple Intelligence. No SignalKind account is required and your message text is not sent to a developer server. Saved History is stored locally. You choose when to copy or share a message; Apple purchases, device backups and chosen sharing destinations are separate services.
ACCESS
The full app has a 14-day access window from first launch. Starting it does not start a subscription. Afterwards, a paid app plan is required for continued full-app access. The keyboard stays free, and saved History remains available to read and copy. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple; Apple shows the applicable price and terms before purchase.
REQUIREMENTS
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Rewrite and Decode require iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, an eligible Apple Intelligence device, Apple Intelligence enabled and the on-device model ready. Keyboard rewrites also depend on available extension memory.
