You reach for your phone before you're even awake. The scroll is usually about something else: filling a quiet moment, or slipping past a feeling you don't want to sit with.
Dear Wander places a warm breathing pause in front of the apps that pull at you. A small gap between the reach and the tap, where the choice becomes yours again.
And more often than you'd think, after a breath, you choose something else.
How it works
You pick the apps that tend to swallow your evenings. When you open one, a calm amber screen appears first and invites you to breathe. After a breath, you're free to continue. You just get to arrive in your own intention before you do.
It's built on Apple's own Screen Time framework. Your app choices stay on your device, and there's nothing to log into.

Dear Wander is free to use, with a gentle pause on one app. For unlimited apps and the full library of guided sessions, premium is a subscription (monthly or yearly, beginning with a free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime in Settings.

A new look, and a fix.
Dear Wander has a new icon: an arch opening onto the last of the light.
Websites now get the same pause as apps. If you'd put a whole category on your list, the sites inside it were slipping through. They don't any more. Works only in Safari.
