The only app built specifically to help breastfeeding families identify infant food protein triggers. Log meals, track symptoms, and let the data find the pattern.
Is your baby fussy, gassy, rashy, or in pain and you have no idea why? Are you seeing mucus or blood in their diaper but you can't pinpoint a pattern? Have you cut dairy from your diet but things have not improved?
If you're breastfeeding and something feels off, your diet may be the missing piece. Small proteins from your food can pass into breastmilk and trigger real reactions in your baby. And it's not always just dairy that your baby is reacting to. Up to 17% of infants are affected by this, yet most parents spend weeks or months trying to piece together some answers without success.
MapMyMilk was built to help.
WHAT MAPMYMILK DOES
MapMyMilk connects what you eat to what your baby experiences. Log your meals, track your baby's symptoms, and let the app surface the patterns so you have something concrete to bring to your care team.
TRACK EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS
Log foods with allergen tagging across dairy, soy, egg, gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, corn, and more. Record symptoms with severity ratings, photos, and timestamps. Track pumped milk with dual timestamps to easily connect triggers to that milk even long after you ate. Log other factors like vaccines, teething, illness, and developmental leaps to rule out false positives. Use the ingredient label scanner to instantly detect hidden allergens from a photo of any product.
SEE REAL PATTERNS
As you log, MapMyMilk automatically calculates correlations between each food and your baby's symptoms — assigning a risk signal to each trigger:
With one tap you'll see detailed reports for each trigger including reaction times, symptom frequency, and severity trends. No more flipping through notebooks or trying to remember it all.
BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY FEED
Whether you're nursing, pumping, or both — MapMyMilk tracks each feeding type separately so your data stays accurate. Baby starting solids? Log those independently and track reactions to their direct intake too.
DESIGNED FOR TIRED PARENTS
Quick-log favorite meals with one tap. Search your full history by food, brand, or date. Earn milestone badges that keep you motivated. The app is calm, clean, and easy to use at 3am.
SHARE WITH YOUR CARE TEAM
Export a formatted PDF report or CSV file to bring to your pediatrician, allergist, or lactation consultant. MapMyMilk gives you evidence — not just anecdotes — so your conversations with your care team are grounded in data, not memory.
Trusted by lactation consultants, NICU nurses, and over 1000 families navigating infant food reactivity.

I used the web version of MapMyMilk and I am so happy to see they have an app now! My baby was diagnosed with CMPA but even after eliminating dairy, she kept having symptoms. Trying to figure out her different food triggers was so difficult and disheartening, and I almost gave up breastfeeding. Once I found mapmymilk things got SO much easier! I was finally able to figure out the issues were dairy, soy, and gluten. I don’t know if I ever would have gotten there on my own. Highly recommend this app to save your sanity!

I started using the web app when my baby was 3 months old and I suspected a food allergy, I’m so glad it’s a mobile app now! Journalling foods and symptoms on paper felt overwhelming, but this app made tracking so much easier, especially being able to log photos with symptoms (to show our pediatrician). The insights were so useful too. We are still working through reintroducing the allergy and I know I’ll continue using it during this phase, too.

Thank you so much for your review! We’re so glad MapMyMilk helped your family during the discovery/tracking phase and we are confident it will help during reintroductions now too ❤️
So helpful!

This app is so helpful. I was food journaling on paper and it was so difficult to track. Everything here is all in one place and actually shows you what food is most likely causing the issue. You just gotta be diligent! I found it helped to use talk text while I was or baby was eating toLog immediately. Thank you Maya!!

Detects hidden soy
BriEnaaa
It seems that the app glitches have gotten better, so I’m updating my review to be more positive. I love the tool that reads into ingredients for you. It helps detect hidden soy, which is what our struggle currently is. I wish there was a way to insert multiple meals at a time (eg. meal, side, drink all at once) vs entering them one by one. I also wish there was a way to search foods that already exist out there and auto populates the ingredients and potential triggers rather than entering our own every time.
Developer Response
So glad to hear things are running more smoothly! Thank you for updating your review - it means a lot to us. Hidden soy is notoriously tricky to spot and we’re really happy the label scanner is helping. Your feedback on multi-item logging and food search is noted — these are exactly the kinds of improvements we’re working toward. Just a quick tip — you can actually log multiple items in one entry (e.g. ‘chicken, rice, salad, water’) and the app will track them together. Hope that helps! Thank you for giving us another chance. 🩷
New: one-tap Diaper logging, with normal and reaction entries tracked separately. Plus mobile browser fixes and general improvements.
