Pick your eight. Find your ones.
Route 08 is a quiet place for people who measure their life in trips. Log everywhere you have been, choose the eight places that made you, and find the travelers who share them. Not a feed. Not a follower count. Just the people whose paths actually cross yours.
Build your Passport
Your travel log, every place in one collection. Add as you remember. Tag the reason you went and the season. Search by place, country, or tip.
Choose your Top 8
Up to eight places that shaped you. Not your favorite vacations, the ones you carry. Star them right from your Passport.
Match on what you share
Travelers who overlap with your places rise to the top of your feed. The more you share, and the more your reasons line up, the higher they sit. Their rarest favorite stays hidden until you both Wave. A mutual Wave reveals it both ways.
Leave One Things
For every place in your Passport, you can leave one tip. The single thing you would tell a friend. Not a list. Not a guide. One Thing. When you match, theirs unlock.
Common Ground
A daily ritual. Eight cards a day, drawn from the places you and a match both know. A word. A statistic. A right-now fact about the time of day there. A tip from another traveler. Quiet, not noisy.
Climb if you want to
Eight leaderboards that count what you have done, not who you are. Most countries, most continents, rare favorites, the Explorer Score, and more. Climb if you want to. Ignore if you don't.
Your Runway Map
The airports you've flown through, rendered as a runway diagram drawn to scale.
Founding 500
The first 500 people on Route 08 carry a Founding 500 badge. Your number, locked in forever. It shows on your profile and in every match.
Pick your eight. Find your ones.
I admit I like planes, like always-a-window-seat kinda guy, but my wife and I also love roadtrips (southwest preferred.) Anyway, this app lets me get it all down: viewable and brag-able! It’s so much in the Goldilocks zone for me; I can add in just the right amount (not too much, and not too little.) Great checking other peeps one tip for cities we’re heading to. And it’s free (for now?) so easy decision.
A must have for traveling

As one who is obsessed with tracking national parks, this app takes it to a whole new level. Now every time I travel somewhere new, I get excited to add it to my passport. Comparing friends’ maps and looking at the leaderboards gives traveling a new competition, the kind of competitiveness we need more of
