If your phone is in light mode you'll see a warm paper background with high-contrast ink typography. Dark mode keeps the familiar carbon-black archive look. All colours were recalibrated to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 minimum) in both modes, making the app significantly easier to read. **Smarter category navigation in How-To guides** Tapping any category on the How-Tos screen now smoothly scrolls it into view so you can always see what's on either side. If you tap a category and then press the + button to add a new guide, the creation screen opens with that category already selected — no need to re-pick it. ### Bug Fixes - Fixed secondary text being too low-contrast on dark backgrounds (grey-on-dark legibility issue reported by users). - Fixed category chip row in the new-guide creation screen not being scrollable. - Fixed colour names in the Fridge Board note colour picker being invisible in dark mode.

**Smarter date wording across Life Admin** Warranty items now show "Expiry Date" instead of "Renewal Date". Contracts show "End Date", Wills show "Review Date", and vehicle items show "Next Due Date". Notifications match. You'll now receive "Warranty expiring in 7 days" for an appliance rather than a generic renewal message. **Fridge Board due date reminders** Sticky notes with a due date now trigger local notifications: one the day before and one on the day itself. Completing or deleting a note automatically cancels its reminders. **Widget install prompt after onboarding** A one-time prompt appears after completing onboarding, guiding you to add the Pelpa widget to your Home Screen for at-a-glance renewals and pinned notes. **Share Archive from the Handbook** The "Share Archive" action is now a prominent card inside the Handbook tab, making it easy to send your home archive to a partner, caregiver, or anyone who needs it. ### Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where a due/renewal date set during initial admin item creation was not saved (it was correctly saved on subsequent edits). - Fixed widget install prompt not appearing when re-running onboarding after deleting all data. - Fixed: editing a How-To guide's category now saves correctly - Fixed: lead text and supplies list no longer lost when editing a How-To guide - Fixed: date of birth now saved when adding a new family member - Fixed: "Swipe to Begin" arrows in How-To guides now point in the correct direction ---
