Shorelife helps California surfers, marine biologists, swimmers, and parents decide whether today’s water is worth entering. I built it because bacteria data is scattered, official samples lag real conditions, and advisories are hard to compare. Shorelife fills the dark space between weekly physical samples. By leveraging live CDIP, CeNCOOS, and EPA UV covariates to forecast daily risk, the application provides high-fidelity, real-time context that physical sampling simply cannot achieve.
