Weight & Balance is a calculation assistant for general aviation pilots. Enter your aircraft profile (empty weight, empty arm, stations, MTOW, and envelope), then load fuel, passengers, and baggage to get total weight, moment, CG, and a clear within/out-of-envelope verdict.
FEATURES
• Aircraft library — starter profiles for Cessna 152 / 172 (N, P, R, S), Piper PA-28-161 / PA-28-181, Piper PA-34-200 Seneca II (twin), Diamond DA-40.
• Custom profiles — add as many stations as your aircraft needs (single-engine to twin), with seats, fuel, and baggage stations.
• Envelope chart — visual plot of the loaded CG against the certified envelope.
• PDF export — generate a printable / shareable W&B report with date, time, station table, totals, and the envelope chart.
• Saved calculations — save any W&B result with a name, date, and full loading snapshot. Review past calculations from the History tab. Stored locally on your device.
• kg/lb unit toggle — switch the entire app between kilograms and pounds in Settings. PDF reports follow your preference.
• Avgas converter — Litres, US gal, IMP gal, kg, lb (100LL density 0.72 kg/L).
• kg ↔ lb converter.
• Works offline. Your aircraft profiles and saved calculations stay on your device.
WHO IT IS FOR
Student pilots, certified pilots, flight instructors, and flight schools using single-engine or light twin aircraft.
IMPORTANT
This app is a calculation assistant only. Always verify weight and balance using the official aircraft POH/AFM and current aircraft records before flight. The starter envelope and arm values are approximations — review and adjust each profile against your actual aircraft documents before use.
PRIVACY
No account or login. Aircraft profiles are stored locally on your device. The app shows banner ads via Google AdMob; when you grant tracking permission, AdMob may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. Denying tracking keeps ads non-personalized.
