HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick your severity — Celiac, Sensitivity, or Preference. Saivo adjusts the wording so the card communicates the right level of urgency.
2. Pick your language — Spanish, German, and Japanese free; 80+ more available.
3. Toggle the cross-contamination warnings and hidden gluten sources that matter for your situation.
4. Hand your phone to the server in Waiter Mode — full screen, bright, screen stays on.
That's it. No multi-step setup. No login. No data leaves your phone.
FULLY OFFLINE
The app works in airplane mode. Every language pack is bundled inside the app — no Wi-Fi, no signal, no problem. Use it on the train in rural Italy, the bus in northern Thailand, the boat in the Cyclades. Loaded once, ready forever.
THREE SEVERITY LEVELS
Saivo uses different language depending on what you select:
• Celiac — medical necessity framing, includes "even trace amounts" warnings
• Sensitivity — firm but not emergency, for non-celiac gluten sensitivity
• Preference — polite request framing, for choosing to avoid gluten
Pick the one that matches your situation, and Saivo adapts the card automatically.
PROTECT AGAINST CROSS-CONTAMINATION
Toggle warnings for shared surfaces, shared fryers, and airborne flour. The card communicates these clearly in the target language so servers and kitchen staff can adjust.
HIDDEN GLUTEN SOURCES
Twelve categories of common hidden gluten sources are explained in every language: soy sauce (contains wheat), malt vinegar, gravies and thickeners, Worcestershire sauce, roux-thickened soups, flour-dusted fish, breadcrumb binders, imitation crab, and more. Toggle the ones that apply.
WAITER MODE
A dedicated full-screen view designed for handing your phone across the table. Screen stays on, brightness boosts, language switcher at the bottom for border-crossing travel. Designed for restaurants — low light, fast handoff, no awkward fumbling.
