This update makes signing in to Ollovas more secure. Nothing changes in how you use the app.

Creating an account now asks you to confirm you're 16 or over, with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy linked right there.

Notifications now take you to the exact thing that changed — the photo someone added, the one they liked, or the comment they left — instead of just opening the app. Full-quality copies of your photos now save reliably in the background, so your originals are kept safe at their original size.

Tapping a notification now takes you straight to the moment it was about, instead of just opening the app. Your photos are now kept at their original quality. Ollovas sends the full-size version quietly in the background over WiFi, after your photos are already saved — so adding to a moment stays just as fast. Fixed a problem where adding a large batch of photos could fail without explaining why, and where one problem photo could cancel your whole selection

Notifications now work properly. You'll hear when someone adds photos to a moment you're in, comments, or likes one of your photos — and tapping the notification takes you straight there. You can turn them off any time in Profile. MOMENTS NEAR YOU Walking past somewhere you shared a moment? Your home screen can now show it to you. It's off until you switch it on in Profile, and your location is compared with your own photos on your phone — it never leaves the device. UPLOADS THAT FINISH THEMSELVES If the app closes partway through an upload, it now picks up where it left off next time you open it, instead of quietly losing the photos. ADD PHOTOS STRAIGHT FROM PHOTOS Select photos anywhere on your phone, tap Share, choose Ollovas. Useful after editing a photo somewhere else. Capture dates are read from the photos themselves, so everything files under the day it happened. ALSO FIXED • A blue dot that appeared over photos on the Timeline • More reliable detection of photos you've already added • Various smaller fixes Thank you to everyone sending feedback — most of this came from you.

Notifications — you'll now know when someone adds photos to a moment you're in, comments, or hearts one of your photos. Tap to go straight there, or turn them off in Profile. Add friends directly — no more sending links. The people you already share moments with appear when you tap Invite. Choose one, and they're asked to join. View-only invites — share a moment with someone who can look and like, but not add or remove anything. QR codes — show a moment's invite as a QR code for whoever's standing next to you. Set a moment's date — tap the date under the title to choose it by hand, or pick a range for a trip. For older photos that carry no date of their own. Pinch to zoom — zoom into any photo, and turn your phone sideways for a full landscape view. Sign in with a code — the code in your sign-in email now has somewhere to go. A home screen that changes — the memory circles vary each time you open the app.
