Tonight's tip pool, split by hours to the exact cent — payouts that always add up, a saved crew, and a CSV tip-out sheet for the manager. PREMIUM — PURCHASE REQUIRED: All features described below are part of Pro and require a purchase: a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. End of shift, the pool is counted, and the crew is waiting: TipOut splits tonight's tips by hours worked — exact to the cent — with a breakdown you can show the team and a tip-out sheet you can hand to the manager. Most split apps divide with decimals, so the payouts never quite add up and somebody eats the difference. TipOut does the whole split in whole cents with largest-remainder rounding, so the payout column always equals the pool you typed — by construction, every single time. The exact order of operations is printed inside the app, so anyone on the crew can audit how their number was made. WHAT YOU GET • Type the pool, tap Split — every payout is exact to the cent and the column always adds up to the pool you entered • Three ways to divide: by hours worked, split evenly, or hours × a multiplier you set per person — no house rule ever assumed • Your crew stays saved: names, roles and multipliers are ready next shift, so closing is just updating the hours • Every saved shift lands in History, so "what did I take home Friday?" still has an answer weeks later • One tap exports a tip-out sheet as CSV — date, hours, multiplier, share % and payout per person — ready for the manager • An optional end-of-shift reminder pings you at closing time, so the pool never waits until morning PERFECT FOR • Bar and restaurant managers who close out the tip pool every night • Bartenders and barbacks pooling with role weights • Servers splitting card tips by hours on the clock • Cafe and food-truck crews sharing one jar WHY NOT JUST A CALCULATOR OR A SPREADSHEET? A phone calculator gives you 33.333, someone rounds, and the pool is off by twelve cents in front of the whole crew. A spreadsheet at 2 a.m. is a typo waiting to happen. TipOut keeps every step in whole cents, shows the split order it used, and guarantees the payouts sum to the pool — then remembers the crew for tomorrow. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Everything lives on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no cloud, no tracking. The only thing that ever leaves the device is the CSV file you choose to share, and it goes only where you send it. PREMIUM (PURCHASE REQUIRED) TipOut requires Full Access, which unlocks the entire app: unlimited splits, all three distribution methods, the saved crew roster, shift history, CSV tip-out export and end-of-shift reminders. Choose a Weekly or Yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Pool tonight's tips, tap Split, and hand out exact payouts before the lights come up.
