It is not something you buy, and it ends when the link or their subscription ends. Your carrier can also give its mechanics an account for work orders, repair photos and inspection reports. The carrier creates and disables it, and it cannot be deleted from the app. Notice for Mechanics: https://nextdrive.cloud/mechanic-notice YOUR FILE IS YOURS The file belongs to you, not to one employer, and goes with you when you change jobs. Profile > Privacy & Security > Wallet access lists every company that can read it and which ones you can cut off yourself. The carrier that employs you is different: while you are linked it reads your file from your account — your name, your photograph and your most recent practice score among the rest — and 49 CFR 391.51 requires it to keep your Driver Qualification File, so that access ends through offboarding rather than at the tap of a button. Parts of the file are filled in by the carrier that employs you — drug and alcohol testing and the annual review among them — because federal law puts those in the carrier's hands, not yours. NextWallet is not a certified ELD. • For carriers that use NextDrive: mechanic accounts, created by the carrier, to work their work orders, request parts, photograph repairs before and after, and fill in annual and 90-day inspections item by item or upload the scan of a paper one. The annual is only for mechanics the carrier has recorded as qualified. Most notes can be dictated. NextWallet is published by NextDrive LLC and is not affiliated with the U.S. DOT or the FMCSA.
